A Little Bit of This, and a Little Bit of That….

Well, I got my French Toast after all. There are a few items I buy at Trader Joe’s that I almost can’t live without now, and the bread is one of those tems. After using up the last of my bread Sunday morning on my French Toast for Tucker, I knew I needed to make a grocery run. So I made a trip to Trader Joes and stocked up. This bread is super dense. I seem to no longer be a sandwich person, except for breakfast sandwiches, but this bread makes the best toast ever!

French Toast, made with egg whites
Topped with spray butter, blueberries and banana slices and 1 T. Maple Syrup.
4 PPV
Egg White Omelette
1 PPV

Total for Breakfast = 5 PPV (that’s a LOT of food!)

The rest of the day was probably the strangest I have eaten in a while. I was super busy, so I never did eat an actual meal, but I snacked on low point healthy snacks all day……

Here’ a run down.

WW 2 Point Bar
Carrots
Celery
Grapes
Banana
Apples
Nutella
Almonds
Turkey
Cheese
Sweet potato fries

All that and kept within my 26 PPV for the day.

I also took a nice afternoon 5 mile walk! 🙂

Refresh…I can eat 26 points a day.
I can earn Activity Points by doing exercise.
I have an allowance of 49 points that I can dip into if I chose.
I should drink a minimum of 6 (8 oz) glasses of water each day.

The food I ate today and it’s PPV.

Breakfast = 5
Snacks = 21

Total = 26

Activity Points Earned Today = 5
Remaining points from my 49 Points Allowance = 44
How many glasses of water I drank today = 12

  1. I didn’t say I would tell you if you messed up, I said your body will tell you if you mess up! But I might hint at it a little. I mean, what are sisters for, anyway!

  2. I didn’t really think about that. I guess I can have one, then not have the carb cravings! 🙂
    I giggled when you said you would tell me if I mess up! Thank you!

  3. Congrats on getting out there and running, two days in a row! Nothing beats it for weight loss. You have a great, easy stride. I bet you end up liking it most days, once you are in the habit. Though, like Ruth said, some days are harder than other.

    I agree with you that the real problem with beer, for you, is that it causes you to want more beer and then to have carb cravings. The one beer at the featival didn’t seem to send you into a carb spiral, so that’s great. You have to figure out what works for you! It’s your body, pay attention to it! It’ll tell you when you messed up!
