Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
I just found out yesterday that I actually am just a wee bit Irish!! At 47 years old, I am JUST finding this out!! Now I feel the need to celebrate all day long!
If I’m Irish, so are THEY!
He is OVER it already…..
I’ll start off my day with some Green Eggs and Ham (Do Irish people do that? Probably not. I’m thinking GREEN, people!)
I also now feel the need to make a traditional meal of Corned Beef and Cabbage! I got busy looking up recipes last night, and I’ve decided to make The Pioneer Woman’s Corned Beef and Cabbage!

I completely took advantage of having nothing I had to do yesterday and stayed in bed ALL morning long. It was so nice and relaxing, I stayed there for most of the afternoon too.
I got up early to let the dogs out, looked at the light layer of snow on the deck, made a big cup of black coffee, and climbed right back into bed. I stayed there until noon, flipping through a mindless magazine and looking at Pinterest ideas for the master. I finally decided to get up and have breakfast at around noon, then somehow I found myself back in my bed. Mike was working for a few hours and the dogs really seemed to want to snuggle and watch a movie. Who was I to argue? We mutually decided on Nebraska. While watching the Oscar’s, I knew it was a movie that I wanted to watch, so with another cup of coffee, surrounded by blankets and dogs, we watched the movie. Good pick!
Then I decided to um…..shower…….make a grocery list, and get a little fresh air.

Omelet made with 1 Egg, 1/2 C. Turkey Sausage
1 Slice Kraft 2% Cheddar Cheese, Salsa
Apple Quesadilla, Coffee with Frothy Skim Milk

WW Creamy Coconut Smoothie, 1 oz Pineapple Juice
1/2 Frozen Banana
1 Cup Water, 1 Cup Ice
Tall Nonfat Latte, Banana
Rotisserie Chicken, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans
