That’s how I felt when I woke up yesterday morning! Bright Eye’d and Bushy Tailed!
Between my Advil PM, and the breathing technique’s I’ve learned in Yoga, I’ve been going to sleep easier, and actually staying asleep. I had TWO good nights in a row, and that just never happens. I’m a total tosser and turner. Some mornings I wake up exhausted from all of the tossing and turning!! Not yesterday morning though. I woke feeling super rested and ready for the day!
I always say I am going to exercise before leaving to go work the Food Truck on Wednesday’s, but I rarely do. Yesterday morning, I took care of my morning chores, put on my exercise clothes and headed out the door with Tucker!
As Tucker attempted one of our traditional “sniff and stroll’s” I said to him….
“Nope. We’re running this mile buddy! It’s beautiful outside this morning, We got a good night’s sleep! We’ve got these strong legs we can run on. I woke up in a really good mood, and we are running!!” Yeah, I was feeling all sorts of extra happy for some reason, so I went with it!
So we ran. We ran our mile, (I didn’t even trip over the leash once!) then we walked a mile. I hopped in the shower, ate a yummy breakfast, then headed off to the Food Truck for another very successful Wednesday!
I’ll be heading to the lake today, so I’ll be back with the weekends shenanigan’s on Monday!

Again with the Trader Joe’s Bread!
For ONE sandwich, I lightly buttered (using 1 T. of Country Crock Light Spread for 1 PPV) my two slices of bread. I put Tuna Salad, 1 slice of 2% Sharp Cheddar, and two big slices of home grown Tomatoes on my sandwich. I grilled these instead of just toasting them. So yummy!
1 Large Can of Tuna, drained
4 Hard Boiled Eggs
4 T. Light Mayo
2 T. Sweet Pickle Relish
Salt and Pepper
Makes Four Servings. One Serving = 5 PPV
Tuna Melt, Carrots, Side Salad and 6 Tots!
Weight Watcher’s Points Plus
I can eat 26 PPV a day.
I can earn Activity Points by doing exercise, and eat them if I choose.
I have an allowance of 49 extra points that I can dip into throughout the week if I choose.
I should drink a minimum of 6 (8 oz) glasses of water each day.
