The Basic’s of Weight Watchers

When I got up yesterday morning, I stepped on the scale. It takes me a few days to do that when I come home from a vacation. I had an idea where the scale would be, and I was right. I knew that yesterday I would keep within my points, track my food, drink my water, exercise and prepare myself for an awesome week of getting back to the Basic’s of Weight Watchers. I’ve been up on the scale for a few months now and I would like to get back to where I was.

Track what I eat.

Drink my water.

Exercise.

Plan.

It’s the Basic’s of Weight Watchers.

I worked downtown at the Food Truck yesterday. There were four other Food Trucks there as well. I had a good breakfast before I went to work. While at work, my lunch consisted of a few bites of chicken, a few bites of mac and cheese, a few bites of jambalaya from one of the other trucks, and a yummy coffee from the dessert truck! We were busy chatting away, and I didn’t take a single picture, but I’d say my lunch was about 16 Points. Not what I had planned for my day of following the Basic’s of Weight Watchers, but I stayed strong the rest of the day, ate a tasty low point dinner, drank lots of water and ended the night feeling like i had made it a healthy day.

I got in a really great walk yesterday and I feel good about going to my meeting this morning. I have had to miss the last 4 meetings in a row, so I am ready to get back to my Friday routine, and plan for the week ahead!

Weight Watcher’s Points Plus

I can eat 26 PPV a day.

I can earn Activity Points by doing exercise, and eat them if I choose.

I have an allowance of 49 extra points that I can dip into throughout the week if I choose.

I should drink a minimum of 6 (8 oz) glasses of water each day.

My Weight Watcher Week Begins on Friday’s

 

Breakfast = Egg Whites, Light English Muffin, Cheese, Fruit, Frothy Coffee (6)

Lunch = Chicken, Mac and Cheese, Jimbaly (16)

Snack = Banana (0)

Dinner = Zucc and Parm (2)

Total = 24

Exercise = Walked 7 Miles!

How many glasses of water I drank = 10

Alcohol Consumption = none
