Plan, Track, Success!

I’ll keep this short. My fingers are tired from typing yesterday! 

Breakfast in my hotel room yesterday morning was an apple that I had brought, and black coffee. I was enjoying my hotel robe too much to leave the room, and I had decided that I had spoiled myself enough, so I passed on room service.

Lunch was fish taco’s, a banana and a latte at the airport.

Snack’s were wine and nuts and random things that Ashli kept pulling out of her purse while we were on the plane.

Dinner was the quickest plate of scrambled egg whites that I could throw together as soon as I walked in the door when I got home. I was starving!

It was a challenging last three days of food and drinks, but I feel like I got through it successfully, and after the little mountain climbing excursion, I think I earned enough activity points that it will end up being a successful week! I feel great!

I think this was the first time that I have gone out of town, knew that I would be having drinks and be in a vacation environment, and tracked my food and activity! I’m patting myself on the back for simply taking the time to try to keep track of it all and guess as best as possible. I know that it made a difference in the choices that I made. 

I have an overnight trip tonight with a girlfriend that will include a little wine drinking I’m certain, but I plan to get a lot of walking in today and tomorrow!

I have an allowance of 49 extra points that I can dip into throughout the week if I choose.

  1. That WAS an awesome place. Highly recommended….by ME!

    I have tried all of the flavors of the Laughing Cow Cheese Wedges, but the Queso and the Light Creamy Swiss are probably my favorites to add to dinner dishes! The Cinnamon is great on a toasted Light English Muffin!

    Yep! It’s already Holiday Cup time at Starbuck’s…..ahhhhh.

  2. Love the pics looks like awesome place. What kind of laughing cow cheese do you use? Had Starbucks yesterday and was so happy to see the holiday cup!
