5 Week Challenge…Day’s 25 & 26

I hope everyone had a great weekend! I got in lots of activity and enjoyed the weekend with family and friends.

Saturday morning…7:00 am, walked the dogs for 1 mile, followed with Hot Yoga at 8:00 am. I mowed and trimmed the lawn and trimmed a few bushes by 10:30. I used my App while mowing and determined I actually walk just over 1 mile while mowing, so I’m including that in my Walking Challenge. I walked another 3 miles after mowing. bringing my total for the day to 5 miles. It felt great to get all of that activity in before noon. It was a great day earning lots of activity points.

Sunday morning at 7:00 am, was a walk/run with Tucker and Mike. The three of us made a really good team getting in lots of spurts of running along the way. I am loving having these two go with me!

Dinner – 11 PPV

I wasn’t even going to cook, but I’ve had the ingredients for this Zucchini Noodle Lasagna for over 4 days. I really wanted to make it and I was in the mood to cook. I opened a bottle of wine, and got busy in the kitchen. Mike was watching golf and napping on the couch, and I was cooking and having wine. I was in heaven. There were several steps and it wasn’t ready to eat until about 8:30. We really weren’t hungry, so we had a little wine together on the deck and shared a slice of this awesome No Pasta, Zucchini Lasagna from my SkinnyTaste cookbook.

Guess what’s for dinner tonight???

  1. You had an awesome week! Congrats! That’s a nice loss.

I LOVED the lasagna! It was a little more work than I thought it was going to be, but I was in the mood to cook, so it all worked out.

I’ve made several things out of that cookbook and have loved them all.

Keep it up girl! Nice job!

  2. A big weekend done in good taste and lots of movement–bravo.
Oh I have the Skinnytaste cookbook how was the lasagna?
WW Saturday was down 2.2 so here goes week 3 no wheat.
I find myself not craving food all the time–I hope this last!
