Today…Ugly Food Pictures

Yesterday was one of those days at home that I wanted to eat all day long, but since I had Mike home to occupy me, I didn’t do too bad. I had breakfast, later I had lunch, then I had some healthy snacks.

While preparing a salad to go along with dinner, I started eating the Walnuts and Dried Cherries that were supposed to go into the salad.

When it came time to make the main course, I cut up leftover Baked Chicken Parmesan, cooked some spaghetti noodles, added marinara and a little Ragu Light Alfredo Sauce. I kept tasting it as I was making my concoction and before I knew it, I realized I was full. I’m sure the walnuts and dried fruit didn’t help. I am guessing on the points for the nuts and fruit, and the bites of concoction, but I think its a fairly accurate guess.

The good news is, I stopped then and I didn’t make myself a dinner plate. Sometimes when I know that I’ve eaten too much in the afternoon and I know that I’m not hungry come dinner time, I feel obligated to sit down with Mike for dinner just to be polite, I suppose. And that’s just dumb. He just likes that I’m sitting with him, so I did, with my big plastic 32 oz cup of water. 🙂

I didn’t spend much time yesterday trying to make a pretty plate, and when I started looking at pictures for today’s blog, I realized all of my food pictures for the day, are really ugly.

Here are a few pictures of my pretty new floors though! Before, the floors and the kitchen cabinets were basically the same color.

Now I want new area rugs for pops of color!

Here are yesterday’s ugly eats…. 

Breakfast – 8 PPV

My Peanut Butter Packed Pancake tasted so good on Saturday, I had it again yesterday, but I added 1 T. Almond Butter to my toppings and also had a Frothy Coffee. Not a terrible picture, I guess.

Lunch – 6 PPV

Leftover Salmon, Sweet Potato and left over asparagus. Ugly picture.

Snack’s – 2 PPV

The prettiest thing I ate all day. One 5.5 oz Container of Nonfat Plain Greek Yogurt with Vanilla Stevia Drops and Cinnamon, with berries.

Snack – 1 PPV 

A small bowl of fruit with 1 tsp of Almond Butter mixed in. I ate it with a toothpick so it would take longer. No joke. Ugly picture.

Weight Watcher’s Points Plus

I can eat 26 PPV a day.

I can earn Activity Points by doing exercise, and eat them if I choose.

I have an allowance of 49 extra points that I can dip into throughout the week if I choose.

I should drink a minimum of 6 (8 oz) glasses of water each day.

My Weight Watcher Week Begins on Friday’s

 

Breakfast = 8

Lunch = 6

Snack’s = 8

Dinner = 5

Total = 27

Activity Points Earned for the Day = 0

Activity Points Earned This Week = 0

Remaining points from my 49 Points Allowance = 48

 

This is What I Will Accomplish in 2015

I will choose one occasion per month for Social Drinking (um…this is a work in progress)
I will go no more than two days in a row without exercise.
I will track every single day for the entire year. No matter what.
I will RUN in a minimum of six 5K’s. Two down, four to go!

  2. I like the color of your floors–they look like they turned out great.
    I think the pancake picture looks good!
    I didn’t eat smart this weekend so it’s fruit and veggies this week.
