How Many Activity Points for Sweating?

I’ve talked a lot about the Food Truck this week, but I’ve had good reason. Yesterday was crazy hot in that thing. Somedays we get a hint of a breeze coming in the truck, and other days nothing. Yesterday was a no breeze kinda day and with the grill, the oven and three burners going, it’s gets hot in there! Within just a few minutes of being there, I was sweating like crazy. That sounds so unappealing as far as the food goes. Basically, I wiped my face a lot with paper towels and I just kept drinking water.

Guess what exercise I did for the day? Hot Yoga. Yep. After four hours of sweating, I chose to sweat some more. I felt a bit dizzy in class. Don’t worry, I drank 140 ounces of water yesterday. I’m not really one of those people that sweats easily. Never have been. Yesterday, I think I made up for a whole life time of not much sweating.

I like to track my activity points, however, I’m a little disappointed at the options for activity in my Weight Watcher Tracker at times. There is no Hot Yoga option, only Yoga. I know that class earns me more than 4 Activity Points, but that’s what I’ll keep tracking. Oddly, if you run, while pushing a wheelchair, WW will help you track those points.



How many activity points for sweating? I don’t know how to know. Yesterday was likely one of those days that I should have eaten more than 26 points since I exercised hard. I got a lot of activity in on Wednesday too with Jazzercise class and mowing the lawn and only ate 26 points on that day too. I didn’t go to bed hungry either night? You now know what I’ll be asking at my WW meeting this morning!

Last night after Hot Yoga, I went to a Cabi clothing party. Yes. I went right after Yoga! No make up. Sweat and all. I knew what i wanted to order and that I wouldn’t be trying any clothes on, but I mention it because there was wine and there were snacks at the party, and I passed on those and drank 4 bottles of water instead.

Ahhh….that felt good.

Breakfast – 6 PPV

Lunch – 6 PPV

Market Salad at the Food Truck. Larger than yesterday’s. Buried under all those greens…Sunflower Seeds and Feta.



Snack – 0 PPV 

Strawberries at the Food Truck



Snack – 3 PPV

140 g Greek Nonfat Plain Yogurt with a few drops of Vanilla Stevia and Cinnamon mixed in. Topped with a Kiwi, Chia Seeds and a Honey drizzle.



Dinner – 11 PPV

I brought home this Chicken Salad Sandwich from the Food Truck with extra Chicken Salad packed in there. We had a lot of chicken salad left yesterday. 



I ate all of the Chicken Salad and 1/4 of the Bun.



Weight Watcher’s Points Plus

I can eat 26 PPV a day.

I can earn Activity Points by doing exercise, and eat them if I choose.

I have an allowance of 49 extra points that I can dip into throughout the week if I choose.

I should drink a minimum of 6 (8 oz) glasses of water each day.

My Weight Watcher Week Begins on Friday’s


Breakfast = 6

Lunch = 6

Snack = 3

Dinner = 11

Total = 26


Exercise = Hot Yoga

Activity Points Earned for the Day = 4

Activity Points Earned This Week = 24

How many ounces of water I drank for the day = 140

Remaining points from my 49 Points Allowance = 0


This is What I Will Accomplish in 2015

I will choose one occasion per month for Social Drinking (um..this is a work in progress)

I will go no more than two days in a row without exercise. (I’ve done “two a day’s” to make up)

I will track every single day of the entire year. (I’ve only NOT tracked a few weekends this year.)

I will run in a minimum of six 5K’s. Three down, three to go!
