I wasn’t able to go to my WW meeting yesterday morning, but I did weigh at home, and my scale said 171. My scale hasn’t said anything below 172 in a really really long time.
Friday’s have been my most challenging day in the food and drink department for a long time. It could be because it’s the beginning of the weekend. It could be because I have a few friends that are always up for a drink and apps with me on Friday afternoons. It could be because I go to my WW meetings on Friday’s, and I get a whole new allotment of WW Weekly 49 points to dip into aside from my 26 daily points. It’s likely a combo of all of those things. I do know this. Friday’s and not overdoing can be a challenge.
Breakfast yesterday, great. Lunch, not bad. I ate my yogurt that I took to the food truck, but I followed it with a few bites of pork that I guessed to be 4 points. When I got home after 5:00, I was starving, so I ate a plain sandwich thin for 3 points. (My mom brought these over earlier in the week with those mini croissants that I tossed after she left) It was surprisingly good by itself, so I had another one (two of them count as 5 points) with Almond Butter and Strawberry jam on it. Then I stopped by a friends house for a short Happy Hour. I had a beer and I ate one rib and some broccoli salad. Then I had some wine and a few pieces of cheese. Then I had a couple of bites of candy corn.
I entered each item that I ate into my WW tracker when I got home, and gave a good guess on how much of each item that I ate. I think I guess fairly well, and when in doubt, I add an extra point or two as a cushion.
I ate all of my 49 Points last week, and a few Activity Points, and the scale was kind to me, so I’m not worried about my week, but Friday’s are definitely my most challenging day of the week.
In addition to the food that I ate, I had an awesome Friday! We had a great day working the Food Truck in the West Bottoms of Kansas City. The weather was my kinda weather. I don’t think it ever reached 70 yesterday. I love the 60’s. Makes me wanna drink coffee all day long and take long walks.
After we were done working, my friend Renee (she’s helping us out at the truck) and I did a little shopping. One of the stores had complimentary Tootsie Pops. Thank you!
I love this idea. Beer bottles with Bittersweet! I’m gonna have to make this, and soon!
I’ve been keeping my eye on this little Telephone table and I just might have to eventually buy it. I think it wants to live with me.
I’d also like to get this chair. It’s super close to the ground, and it would be perfect for my mom. She’s 4′-8″. I think I like it raw, unfinished, just the way it is. Just needs a cozy cushion.
I have a few friends that would LOVE to have this sign! I couldn’t decide who to buy it for, so I didn’t. 🙂
Then I found this black cabinet. I knew exactly where I was going to put it.
If you’re not familiar with the Kansas City area, the West Bottoms is an older part of town that has become a very popular area for shops with refurbished furniture, clothes and antiques. (and on first Friday’s….Food Trucks!) I could look at stuff all day long.
I found a few great things to sit on top of it! I love my purchase!
It’s a happy day.
I’m working in the yard today to finish up a little landscaping project, then I’ll share some pictures. I hope you all have a very happy Saturday.

I can earn Activity Points by doing exercise, and eat them if I choose.
I have an allowance of 49 extra points that I can dip into throughout the week if I choose.

Exercise = none, but another day on my feet all day. Food Truck work also means constant moving.

This is What I Will Accomplish in 2015
I will choose one occasion per month for Social Drinking (um..this is a work in progress)
I will go no more than two days in a row without exercise. (I’ve done “two a day’s” to make up)
I will track every single day of the entire year. (I’ve only NOT tracked a few weekends this year.)
I will run in a minimum of six 5K’s. Three down, three to go!
