Back in the Groove…..

Yesterday was quiet and productive at home. Lots of laundry and a few snuggles with my pups. Mostly with this one……

All day I kept thinking how I had to get to the grocery store because we really had no food. Lunch time came, and I was able to put together a pretty tasty lunch. Dinner came, and as I was telling Mike that he could just eat my leftovers from my lunch, and I would eat eggs, I remembered that I had set out some lamb chops that I had been a bit hesitant to make. The only thing in the vegetable crisper was a bag of carrots and a bag of mixed greens. You guys….dinner was amazing.

But today. I HAVE to grocery shop!

Here are yesterday’s eats……

Breakfast – 7 PPV

Potato Skins? Kinda. I took my baked sweet potato, and sliced in lengthwise. I took three slices and put them in the skillet in a little coconut oil (and just a tad of the bacon fat from the slice of bacon that I cooked) until they were just crisp. I topped them with smashed avocado, a scrambled egg and one slice of crumbled bacon. A clementine and Black Coffee on the side. Yum.

Lunch – 8 PPV

I sautéed Fresh Green Beans and Onions. I added a piece of cooked bacon to the skillet, leftover rotisserie chicken and Trader Joe’s Organic Vegetable Broth. Let it all simmer, and lunch was filing and delicious.

Dinner – 14 PPV

I’ve never made lamb chops before. I’m not sure that I’ve actually eaten lamb chops before. I bought them right after buying the Whole30 book, but for some reason was reluctant to make them. They tasted like steak! Roasted Carrots and a Salad made with my new Balsamic Vinegar and Oils I picked up last week at the Olive Oil store. This dressing combo was Blood Orange Olive Oil and Cranberry Walnut Vinegar with a few Walnuts tossed in the salad too. I used a little wine to cook the lamb chops, so of course a glass of wine with dinner finished it all off nicely.

Weight Watcher’s Points Plus

I can eat 26 PPV a day.

I can earn Activity Points by doing exercise, and eat them if I choose.

I have an allowance of 49 extra points that I can dip into throughout the week if I choose.

I should drink a minimum of 6 (8 oz) glasses of water each day.

My Weight Watcher Week Begins on Friday’s

Dinner = 14

Total = 29

 

Exercise = none

Activity Points Earned for the Day = 0

Activity Points Earned This Week = 0

How many ounces of water I drank for the day = 70

Remaining points from my 49 Points Allowance = 46

 

This is What I Will Accomplish in 2015

I will choose one occasion per month for Social Drinking (um..this is a work in progress)

I will go no more than two days in a row without exercise. (I’ve done “two a day’s” to make up, and slacked lately)

I will track every single day of the entire year. (I’ve only NOT tracked a few weekends this year.)

I will run in a minimum of six 5K’s. Done!!
