Dog Gone It

For way more time than I would like to admit, this is what I did on Tuesday.

He walked on the piled up pillows beside me and put his head on my shoulder. He’s such a lover.

Then he got his head and his body just as close to me as he could. His paw felt like a hug.

Then he settled in, and I let him, almost forever.

We also spent a little time playing with app’s on my phone.

I’m sure I accomplished something else on Tuesday, but I can’t remember what.

Oh, wait! I did find a great 10 minute Leg Workout Video on YouTube. It was 10 minutes straight of squats and jumping jacks. My legs were burning at the end, so I’ll guess that I did it right. The guy kept saying, “You should really feel the burn now.” I’m like….Yep, feeing it!

I also found a 10 minute arm workout that was mostly bicep curls. No burn there. Next time, heavier weights.

I am so glad that I ended up getting a Smart TV for the Home Gym! It is pretty awesome to be able to YouTube workouts on the TV or watch Netflix while on the treadmill.

After my two 10 minute video’s, my daughter called and we chatted for about an hour, then it was time to make dinner.

That sums up Tuesday.

Wednesday, I got in a good 40 minute treadmill workout, then about 20 minutes of Yoga.

Mike gave me a massage gift card for Christmas, and I decided to finally use it yesterday.

It’s been two pretty chill days. I did get a chance to talk to my Food Truck Boss, and it looks like we will be back to working a full schedule come March. I am so ready to get out of the house! Going a bit stir crazy!

That sums up the last two days.

Here are Tuesday’s eats….

I did not count points the last two days, but I kept concious of my food choices and I did get in my 100 ounces of water. On both days, I had pancakes for breakfast, I had Buffalo Chicken Casserole for lunch, and I had Cauliflower Rice for dinner. Time to change things up a bit today.

Breakfast

I made some Paleo Pumpkin Pancakes, and filled them with banana slices! I discovered after I ate them, that Tuesday was Pancake day. Yep, it was meant to be. These babies were 4 SmartPoints a piece and I had three of them! Yes, I cooked them a bit too long. Still really good.

Lunch

Still enjoying the Buffalo Chicken Spaghetti Squash Casserole with a bunch of veggies.

I didn’t track my points, but because I did figure out the points for the pancakes, i was careful to not eat too many points for lunch or dinner.

Dinner

Fried “Cauliflower” Rice with Chicken and Cashews. So simple.

I sautéed some riced cauliflower in the skillet in Olive Oil, added some carrots, cooked chicken, scrambled eggs, cashews and coconut amino’s (paleo replacement for soy sauce). Mike loved this. Plenty for his lunch the next two days.
