Round 2, Whole30, Day 11

Saturday, after Yoga, my food truck boss, Sidney, picked me up and we headed down to KC’s West Bottoms for a little fun.

Lots of shopping, live music and some sunshine.

On my “Project” list for one of these years, is to make myself a headboard, something like this. I love this.

For now, I’ll settle with these purchases for the day. You could say it was a Tray Day.

After shopping, we went to lunch at a great little place in KC, called the Westside Local. All fresh, Farm to Market style.

How cute is this place? One large dining area, an outside dining area and just a few tables in this little bar area, where we were seated.

I was beautiful outside yesterday, so I grilled out some steaks and we called it an early night.

Today is supposed to be beautiful, so a little yard work is in order.

Breakfast – 6 SP

Scrambled Egg Whites, 1/2 Chicken Apple Sausage, Smashed Avocado, Clementines

Lunch – 15 SP

Salmon Salad over Butter Lettuce with Hard Boiled Egg, Snap Peas and Purple Potatoes

(Eating a meal at a restaurant can be challenging on Whole30, but I think I made a pretty good choice here. The Salmon salad is made with Aioli that the restaurant makes from scratch, and the waitress said that it had no sugar in it. 🙂  )

Dinner – 15 SP

1/2 Grilled Ribeye, Roasted Rosemary Potatoes, Grilled Asparagus, Pear and Walnut Salad with Olive Oil and Balsamic
