Everything Must Go!

IMG_2074

I haven’t had a garage sale in forever, and I despise them. You do all that work, and only sell 25% of your stuff. Is that just me? I spent the entire day yesterday organizing my pile in the garage that I made a few weeks ago, then I went crazy and searched the house for anything and everything I could find to get rid of. Mike is going to come home one day to a living room with only a couch and a TV!

I’m not sure how many trips I made up and down the stairs to the spare bedroom closet making sure I had everything out of there that I think I can sell, and multiple trips to the basement to do the same. Basically I have $1 on everything. That should get rid of it all, ya think?

Okay, I’ve gotta go. I need to get my coffee cup filled up, and open up the doors!

Happy Friday!

Here are yesterday’s eats…

Breakfast – 12 SP

Pumpkin Pancakes from Trina at Paleo Newbie. I ate two for 6 SmartPoints, and they were so good, I ate two more.

Dinner – 8 SP

Beers – 8 SP

I was busy pricing Garage Sale stuff, so I had a Larabar for dinner. Then I had two beers, cuz I was thirsty!

  1. Oh my gosh Nancy! Congratulations to you on 41 years of teaching! That is a long career and quite the accomplishment!

I never thought about clutter affecting my weight, but it does overwhelm me, which turns to anxiety, which causes me to eat/binge, so I guess that makes a lot of sense.

When I feel organized and clutter free, I don’t have that overwhelmed feeling. I feel structured and organized, so maybe that does transfer over into my food choices! Interesting!

Good sale yesterday, and hopefully today too!

I hope you have a great weekend!

    Julie

  2. I’ve finishing up my 41st year of teaching this year or I will in 18 days.
    I have so much STUFF!!
I have 25 banker boxes of children’s books that I need to start getting rid of and so much more.
I hope starting this June I’m as motivated as you to purge.
They say clutter affects your weight.
BUT I’m with you I’m not a garage sale person and besides I live in an apartment.
    Hope you had success!!
