Ready, Not Ready

I’m out the door to work the food truck in just a bit. It’s going to be close to 100 degrees today, so I’m super excited to be hanging out by the grill all day!

Several months ago, I fell down the stairs. My heel caught the edge of the step on the landing, and down I went, about five steps to the hardwood. Well, I did it again. Rug burn on my arm, huge bruise on my butt, and a sore back.

I think I’ll get on a plane, ride in a cab, spend the night with a stranger, and go hiking in the woods with the bears.

For realz though, I’m so ready, but not ready at all.

When your kid works for an airline, you fly free, and that’s awesome. When you fly free, you fly “Stand By” and you do carry on luggage. One bag for sight seeing? One bag for off the grid kinda stuff? I’ve become pretty good at packing carry on, but two completely different trips? And I haven’t started yet? 

I always pack a week early, and I have yet to pack one item! I’m leaving in the morning. I don’t even have my “packing list” made, and I always have a list! I even need to do laundry!

I gotta go!

What I ate yesterday…

Breakfast – 0 SP

Several handfuls of Blueberries and three cups of Black Coffee

Lunch – 15 SP

I met my mom at First Watch. She always like to see me before I go on a trip. You know, in case I don’t make it back. Not kidding. She says it.

Avocado, Bacon and Potato Hash, topped with Poached Eggs. Fruit and coffee.

Dinner – 14 SP

The Fall Harvest Chopped Salad that we now have regularly. SO DARNED GOOD!!

Make time each week to Meal Plan
Drink 100 ounces of water each day
Exercise 5 days a week
Three Meals and One Snack, Daily

I can eat 30 SmartPoints a day.

I have an allowance of 35 extra Weekly Points that I can dip into throughout the week if I choose.

My Weight Watcher Week Begins on Friday’s

Breakfast = 0

Lunch = 15

Dinner = 14

Total = 29

Exercise = walked 40 minutes

FitPoints Earned = 5

FitPoints Earned This Week = 19

How many ounces of water I drank for the day = 100

Remaining Weekly SmartPoints = ?? 

 

I have no idea what flight I will be on, no idea what time I will arrive, and really, no idea where I’m going.

I can hardly wait!

  1. Ha ha. Yes, I keep remembering I can stop at some point when I get there to buy anything I forget.

    You are a sweetie. I hope I come home with a few fun stories.

  2. I usually get started at about 9 or 10 the night before but I have it easy because I visit my niece or sister it’s about a 7 hour drive.
    I always forget something and remember on the way down so I usually stop at Walgreens because it’s easy to get there.
    Why is it I can exactly remember what I forgot and where it is while I’m driving down 75??
    You will get packed, get a flight, and have a great adventure.
    And all your blogger friends will be waiting with anticipation or curiosity.
