Why I Need a Vintage Trailer

It was a weekend full of healthy choices, laughs with Mike, and a visit from my dad.

Most of you know that I have been talking about buying a Vintage Trailer at some point in my near future. I have not set a timeline yet for what “my near future” means, but I am getting antsy about that dream becoming a reality.

My dad brought his toys over yesterday for a visit.  Seeing him having fun with his toys makes me want to get my own toys soon!

1966 Trailer and Truck. He had the truck built and yesterday was the first day that he had pulled the trailer with his truck. He’s like a little kid. (I inherited the little kid gene)

The yellow bike is his most recent accessory.  (Walmart – but shhhh, don’t tell anybody)

I think it’s just the cutest  whole package here and I can hardly wait to get one of my own so I can caravan down the road with pops.

Okay, yesterday and food.

I’m just focusing on healthy choices right now without counting Smartpoints. (Allowing yourself to not track is not an excuse to make poor choices.)

Breakfast

I bought these bars a few weeks ago and now I can not remember where I bought them. This is exactly like an RX Bar. Different company, new flavor. I did scan it and this bar is 8 Smartpoints. I like to eat a piece of fruit with these and call it a meal.

I had an Instagram follower tell me she found these at Walmart!

Lunch

I finished off my Chinese takeout and I have no idea how many points this was. I also munched on a few raw veggies.

Snack

A few Dried Apricots and coffee. Perfect for my sweet tooth.

Dinner

Mike grabbed us Blackened Salmon Caesar Salads from a nearby restaurant. Delicious.

Snack

Loving these big fat Blackberries. You won’t even be able to tell where the berry stains are on the front of my dress!  lol

Okay, that about covers my Sunday. I hope that you all had a great weekend!

Our mornings here have been just nice enough that I’ve been able to blog on the deck with my morning coffee and I love it!

Now for a trailer to match my hat!!!

  1. The bicycle really does complete the whole package.😊💛💙 thank you! I really do need one. Right?😂

  2. Pout House. I love that! I am always willing to come out with you. 😘

  3. We built a small garage in the backyard years ago. We called it Bob’s “Pout House” if he got tired of listening to me. Now it is just me and I have a whole house I can pout in if necessary. Love the hat. I love the tiny houses but not sure I could share for a long time.

  4. I do love a tiny house too! They are just so stinking cute. If you win the lottery and you buy yourself one, I’m totally coming to stay with you.

  5. If I win the lottery I’m buying a tiny house.
Sitting it on a hill over looking a river.
It would have to be one floor no steps and I’ve seen them on the Tiny House show.
I don’t think my legs could do a camper but I do like them.
    Hope you get one soon.
