If you are not a WW member, or if you live in a cave, you may not know that the WW Plan is based on how many points you are allowed to eat in a day to lose weight at a healthy rate while also learning portion control and a proper well balanced diet.

The SmartPoints plan figures points based on the following information.

a) Protein
b) Calories
c) Saturated Fat
d) Sugar

Most of my recipes on this blog are based on the PointsPlus plan, and I will try to adjust those as I make them myself.

When I calculate the SmartPoints on a recipe that I make, I am calculating those SmartPoints based using the WW Recipe Builder in the WW App.

  1. If you have not tried WW before, I will tell you that I personally think it is a wonderful education in learning out to eat right, and learning what to look for on labels. I have learned so much over the last several years, and I am still learning things all the time, about food and about my relationship with food.

I am so glad that you have a support group to weigh in with too! That accountability can be huge. If you have an Instagram account, search for the hashtag’s #ww #wwfamily “weightwatchers “simplestart, and you will find all sorts of accounts to follow that will also offer great support!

    Good luck to you!!

  2. Seeing if WW on line will work for me. I have friends who I will weigh with every Friday for the accountability – I do know that the Simple Start is a great way to begin.

  3. It’s a rough road to travel, but I’ve found lots of support in my Weight Watcher meeting. I hope that you are having a good experience in your meeting?

Keep reminding yourself that you are worth it, and that you deserve it, and that you owe it to yourself to put yourself first!

Good luck to you on your journey! Stay strong!
