I enjoyed my Labor Day morning in my P.J.’s, catching up on blogging and laundry and sipping coffee. Did you know that Labor Day has been celebrated since the 1800’s?? Neither did I! When I finally changed out of my P.J.’s, it was 1:00 p.m. and I hopped on the treadmill. While deciding if I wanted to listen to Pandora for an hour, or watch TV, I discovered Julie and Julia was just beginning! I LOVE this movie! I love the stories, I love the cooking, I love the blogging, I love the title, I love it all! I lost all track of time, and walked for 85 minutes, remembering that my original blogging bug came from this movie! One of my Favorite Movies! MIA?

You thought I was missing in action, didn’t you? I was. I have not FORGOTTEN to blog in a long, long time. The last two days have been really full, and fun and busy. Saturday and Sunday had a few unexpected things come up. Lunches out, dinner with family and friends, lots of errand running, Tess came in town, and the weekend included very little scheduling. Fridays food choices were great! Saturdays food choices weren’t terrible? Maybe a little too much sodium going on in my choices? Sunday I believe I ate over half of my “49 Weekly Points Allowance” Where to start…… Let’s see. Saturday’s breakfast was great, all though I am feeling its time to change things up a bit in the breakfast department. Healthy Habits and Routine

Today’s WW Meeting Topic was all about Routine and Healthy Habits. Sometimes the meetings can really make me reflect on the changes I have made, the need I have for a Routine (which I have talked a lot about lately), the healthy habits I have adapted, and the unhealthy habits I have eliminated. Healthy Habits I have adapted that have helped me eliminate some of the Unhealthy Habits I had. 1. Journal and Photograph my food. I take most of my pictures with my Ipad, so they are nothing fancy, but the photos force me to put a little more planning into my meals so they appear attractive and tasteful, and I have more variety. 2.
