Slacker! If it isn’t obvious, or if I haven’t made it clear, Blogging and Babysitting is not NEAR as simple as I had thought! My “21 Day’s of Simple Weight Watcher Meal’s” took me about 30 days, due to day’s where I didn’t have time to get a blog in, or we ate out, or I didn’t plan well, or we had a celebration where dinner was included, and even if I kept within my points, it didn’t seem right to make “Party Food” a part of my 21 Day Plan, so I thought it’d be fun to drag it out as long as possible!!! That was possibly the longest sentence that I have ever written! Break-time! I’m going to be taking a few day’s off (possibly 2 week’s) from the blog. This is my last week to watch Charlotte, and next week we are taking a trip with […]

21 Day’s of Simple Weight Watcher Meal’s…Day 20
I had carb craving’s ALL day long and then did a terrible job of getting in my veggies. Not the best Food Plan Day, but I will say that dinner was easy and delicious! A salad for lunch would have been a much smarter option! I had a nice quiet morning cuddled up with these two. Tucker can’t stand for Charlotte to be too close to me without him being right there beside me too! I can’t tell if he’s just in love with her, or jealous! ! After the nap, we got in an awesome 1 hour walk outside. Breakfast I almost always have protein for breakfast, but I was going for variety here… Toasted English Muffin Cinnamon Cream Cheese Wedge Fresh Fruit Salad Un-Pictured Coffee with Skim Milk 5 PPV Lunch Then I was craving the egg I missed for breakfast. Egg Sandwich 2 Slices […]
Easter Day!
Easter Day was great, but I’ve been anything but a “Weight Watcher” for the last two days! I did make it to my meeting (with Charlotte) for the first time in three weeks on Friday morning! It felt great to get there. I’ve maintained my weight now for several months with no loss. I’m getting eager to get back to losing those final pounds, but taking a break from the scale has been what I needed mentally and I don’t regret the decision to do that. My ultimate goal in my weight loss journey all along has been to be healthy, and since realizing I really could run 3 miles, I feel really good about what my body can do. The “21 Day’s of Simple Weight Watcher Meal’s” has been great for making me eat a variety of food’s, but I didn’t end up losing any weight during the process. […]
21 Day’s of Simple Weight Watcher Meal’s…Day 19
Well, watching Baby Charlotte really is a full time job. I can’t imagine that last three weeks being any different. This little girl completely has me wrapped around her little finger, and anything else she could wrap me around! When she falls asleep on my lap, I refuse to do anything but just stare at her!! I’m only watching her for one more week, but I’m pretty sure I’ll make regular trips to her Day Care after that and take her for the afternoon! Her mom said I can do that whenever I want to! 🙂 Instead of writing long blog post, this is what I have been doing……. Breakfast Peanut Butter Packed Pancake 6 PPV Coffee with Frothy Skim Milk 1 PPV Lunch Green Giant Steamer’s Probably not the best lunch, but when bouncing a baby and changing a baby and rocking a baby and changing […]

Well, The Color Run was a SUCCESS!! We did it! We ran it together, we crossed the finish line together! We’re ready for another one! I really have so much more to blog about. The run, the scale, some thoughts on life, but blogging while babysitting is not nearly as easy as I had anticipated!! i’ll have lots to say when my regular schedule resumes. right now I’m just happy with baby Charlotte and trying to cook breakfast, dinner, clean up my mess and shower for the day! i get to look at this all day! 21 Day’s of Simple Weight Watcher Meal’s…Day 15
I decided to go ahead and write a post since I had some time to kill at the airport before heading to Dallas. I made record time getting to the airport, the place where I park my car had a shuttle ready to go right when I pulled in, I got a random Pre-Check at security, and five minutes before take-off, they told me I was the last stand by passenger that they would let on! Everything worked out perfect! I love this breakfast! I found it by following another blogger. My lunch reminds me of something you’d find a grade schooler having on a Saturday afternoon, and dinner was a simple Salmon Salad that could be made at home. It’s just after 6:00 am and Tess (my Daughter) and I are headed to Downtown Dallas to RUN The Color Run!! Whoo! Whoo! Pre-Breakfast Cinnamon Spice Coffee Frothy Skim Milk […]
21 Day’s of Simple Weight Watcher Meal’s…Day 14
Keeping it short today. Heading to Dallas this afternoon, and lots to do! I won’t have a post on Saturday, but hopefully will get one in on Sunday when I get home.! I am so excited for this weekend’s visit to see Tess for The Color Run that we have been training for. I’ve ran 3 miles a few times now, so I know I’m ready! I tried a couple of new recipes yesterday that I liked! I hope you do too! Sorry these 21 Days of Meal’s have not been consistent, but they have gotten me to try a few new recipes and eat a few of my staple foods in a variety of ways! Lunch Leftover’s! Turkey Meatloaf Roasted Asparagus Whipped Cauliflower Dinner Beef, Sweet Potato and Quinoa Stuffed Bell Peppers I adapted this recipe from Skinnytaste.com. You can click HERE and check out one of […]
21 Day’s of Simple Weight Watcher Meals…Day 13
The BEST part of my day? Charlotte smiling. The WORST part of my day? Dropping my loose face powder (and I had removed the lid that you sprinkle it out of, those always bug me!) and watching it go all over the carpet, then remembering that the vacuum broke on Saturday. I think I just sat there for about 5 minutes, just looking at it. It’s still there. PROUDEST moment of the day? I ran 1.5 miles, then walked 1.5 miles. I really didn’t want to do anything. The most RELAXING part of my day? The one hour drive I took with Charlotte (and a Starbuck’s Nonfat Latte) trying to make her happy. She just had a rough day. FUNNIEST moment of the day? Reaching into the backseat, and into the backwards facing carseat, to find the binky somewhere close to Charlotte’s head, then poking Charlottes face with my finger […]
