Ok, really probably just lazy. But for some reason that song got stuck in my head and it wouldn’t go away. It was an awesome Sunday doing a whole lotta nothin. Crockpot Oatmeal DOES heat up just fine! I was glad I had it for my Sunday morning breakfast……. I made a trip to Trader Joes on Saturday and picked up a few items I hadn’t tried. I had heard of Cookie Butter, but really didn’t know what it was. I’m still not sure I know what it is, but I do know it could be dangerous, and a little goes a long way! In WW world, 1 T. is 2 PPV. A Weekend of Rest…ahhhh……
Friday nights dinner was out, but it was on a quiet patio, we visited with a few friends, passed on the drinks, and we were home before 9:00 pm. We cuddled up on the couch to watch The Bachelorette (Men Tell All), and Mike was asleep before the first commercial. It was good to just chill. Before going to bed, I put together a quick and easy Crockpot Oatmeal Breakfast. Crockpot Oatmeal I DID make it to Bootcamp on Saturday morning and started off the day with a good workout! When I got home, I enjoyed and enormous bowl of oatmeal, topped with a Tablespoon of Better n Peanut Butter, and some sliced banana. Chicken Meatballs
I found these at Price Chopper. 3 meatballs are 4 PPV. I chopped them up and added them to my salad. I will buy them again for sure to have with pasta and red sauce…. …….or on an 80 calorie hot dog bun with red sauce for a delicious meatball sandwich! “love the life you live, live the life you love”
Fridays
Each new week for me (in Weight Watcher World) starts on Friday. This can sometimes make Wednesday and Thursday difficult, if Monday and Tuesday didn’t go so well. In theory, if Monday and Tuesday don’t go so well, one would think one would make the best of Wednesday and Thursday, so Friday at the scale goes well, and that makes your week end well, right? But on occasion, Wednesday and Thursday become “screw it” days, because you get to start fresh on Friday! Now, the latter is certainly not the recommended way of Weight Watcher living, or any other kind of living, for that matter. I have been doing some sort of journaling since around age 10. I like to write down what I am doing, feeling, thinking, planning. I always have. I guess it started with my little red diary that actually had a lock and key. I remember writing really silly, private things in it…….”Dear God, When will I get boobies?”…….then locking it up! I am fairly certain I opened it up and read it to all my girlfriends. I wasn’t even very private at a young age. But if my brother would have found it, I would have DIED! So, I knew my secrets were safe inside my diary. I always liked to go back and read what I had written. Carb Crashing!
Tuesday was tough, but I got through it pretty well without a carb overload! After I blogged, and posted on purpose, so I wouldn’t eat anything else, I did have a VitaTop after watching my movie. Urg! It was Vitalicious…….just like the box says. Then, I felt like total, icky, heavy, nasty CRAP! My body actually hurt. I think the weekend and wedding celebrating wore me out. So, I took an Advil PM, so I could sleep, and went to bed. The alarm went off for Bootcamp at 5:30 am. I rolled over, hit snooze, and went back to sleep. The alarm went off again. I’m back! And it’s all good.
I took the Newlyweds to the airport at 4:30 am and my only stop was at Quik Trip for a coffee and a banana. I came home and made this….. Egg whites on an English Muffin with raspberry jam…… blueberries topped with yogurt and a dash of cinnamon. (6 PPV) After a ridiculously hot workout mowing and trimming the lawn, (yes, it is still green because we are obsessed with watering it) I made my self a WW Creamy Coconut Smoothie and added frozen pineapple and frozen strawberries! (2 PPV) It hit the spot! Lunch….. I was having a carb craving ALL day long! 1 C. of pasta, 1 T. light Country Crock, 1 T. Parmesan Cheese.
