Thank you to Pinterest! I am certain this was created with a child in mind, but I completely enjoyed it for breakfast! Roll out a piece of (1PPV) bread to flatten, spread with 1 T Better n Peanut Butter (1 PPV), roll around a 1/2 banana and slice it. Drizzle with honey (1 PPV)Total = 3 PPV. I found a recipe for chocolate covered peanut butter bananas, (some kinda crazy PB Banana craving today!) and it sounded yummy and fun! I didnt have any chocolate chips, like the original recipe calls for, but I knew I had a few cubes of almond bark, so I pulled that out of the pantry to figure the points. 1 cube is 7 PPV! So I made the recipe anyway just to see how many melted yummies would go into one treat. I’m thinking these babies are at least 3 PPV a piece! Maybe […]

Sometimes 1 of 1 is 1, and 2 of 1 is 1, but sometimes 2 of 1 is 3!
Here is my example. One Laughing Cow Cheese Wedge is 1 PPV. Two Laughing Cow Cheese Wedges is also only 1 PPV. Cool, right? 1 Tablespoon of grated Parmesan Cheese is 1 PPV.2 Tablespoons is also 2 PPV. This is awesome because I think Parmesan cheese taste great on just about anything! However, 1 WW String Cheese is 1 PPV. BUT, 2 WW String Cheese is 3 PPV! So make sure if you are eating two servings of ANY food, to calculate your total protein, fiber, carbs and fat. I have noticed on several things that 2 servings can more than double the points. You might be eating more PPV than you think, OR WORSE, you could be short changing yourself and you could eat more! “love the life you live, live the life you love”
Great Start to a Full and Exciting Week!
The wedding is officially THIS WEEK! I am so happy for Jake and Jordan! I have decided my goal is to maintain through these next two weeks, and then continue my weight loss the day after all of the festivities. I say two weeks because that’s when what I eat this next weekend will show up on the scale, the following week. So I feel like if I put a little extra effort into the exercise this week, I will maintain for sure, and who knows? Maybe I actually will lose another pound. I got up and got an early start on my walking outside Sunday to beat the heat. The forecast calls for a little break in the heat this week. Let’s hope so! And how about some RAIN? My heart rate monitor tells me at the end of my workout my average heart rate and time. I really […]
Gollygeewillakers…..I have GOT to look this sh*t UP first!
I had a nice, quiet, Saturday morning at home with my dogs. My mom and I had planned to make a trip to Trader Joe’s later in the day, do a little shopping and have lunch. Soon after getting up I had a banana, just to get a little something in my tummy. Before I left to pick up my mom, I packed a little snack. Veggies, string cheese, pretzels, an apple and some water. It is CRAZY hot out there! We went to Trader Joe’s where I decided to pick up some Luna bars, banana’s for 19 cents a piece, maple syrup and Coconut Milk. I have not bought it before, but thought I should give it a try. Then we went to TJMaxx and I bought a pair of shorts. Yip, that’s right. Size 10. 🙂 Then we were starving and went to First Watch for lunch, but […]
Good Bye……..
……to you size 12! Okay, my closet is full of 12’s. And some of them fit just fine…..but some had to go! I know sometimes that large, curvy women wear larger clothes to hide the parts of their body they don’t like, but I have learned to try to wear more tailored, fitted clothes. Now I can’t just go out and buy a whole new wardrobe, and I am kinda jumping the gun here, because many things in my closet can still work, but I found this old post, and it made me feel great to read it. Old Post…….. The title? “Size 12”. “It’s really nice to see you again. I was never really happy with your neighbor, size 14, and frankly, size 14’s neighbor, size 16, really pissed me off and stuck around WAY too long. I hate to be rude, but since I’m 5’5”, I’m really more […]
PB2
A serving size is 2 Tablespoon’s and 2 PPV. 1 Tablespoon = 1 PPV. You can read all about it here. Basically, it is a Peanut Butter Powder. You mix it with water to make peanut butter! I actually have not done this, but I do Love it in a smoothie! You can also buy it in Chocolate. I buy this at HyVee. “love the life you live, live the life you love”
VitaTops
These are Four PPV of Fabulous! I buy my VitaTops at HyVee, but I am certain other stores carry them too. They are sold in the freezer section. I like to put them in the microwave for a few seconds, and top with Better N Peanut Butter. If I am craving something sweet for breakfast, I will have one of these with some scrambled egg whites. But they do make a great evening dessert too! They also come in an Apple Crumb, Banana Nut, Chocolate Chip, Golden Corn…….and several others. The Big Wedding is approaching!
Our completely awesome son, Jake, and his equally awesome and beautiful girlfriend of 7 years (now fiancé), Jordan, are getting married one week from today! Here the’s Bride and Groom To Be! This is going to be one of those weddings right out of a fairy tale! We are all so excited for the Big Day! The plans have been underway for several months now and it is hard to believe it is finally here! On Friday we will have the rehearsal dinner at Boulevard Brewery! It’s being catered by Oklahoma Joe’s BBQ! Beer and BBQ! Does it get ANY better than THAT? I think not! I wanted to do the centerpieces for the rehearsal dinner myself, and was really worried they’d turn out super corny, but I kinda think they look pretty great! I will post pictures from the dinner next week! We are going to have an awesome […]
Butternut Squash Mac and Cheese
I found this recipe last Fall when squash was all over the produce isle, and I was trying to attempt eating foods I don’t usually eat. I LOVE this recipe! I must admit there is a little work to this recipe, so I should by no means call it easy, but it is so good, I HAD to post the link to it! Butternut Squash Mac and Cheese “love the life you live, live the life you love”
Crockpot Pork Chops
I think I found this recipe last winter. It is certainly great comfort food for those cold winter days, but I also like the idea of the crockpot for these hot summer days when you have no desire to grill out, or turn on the oven. I am going to say it is approximately 7 PPV, but it will of course depend on the size of your pork chops, and how much sauce you serve up! Click HERE for the recipe!
