I love both of these flavors! They are 2 PPV. There is a chocolate one too, but I feel with these, I have a lot more options of things that I can add to them! I just recently bought the coconut. I added fresh pineapple and felt like I was on a cruise ship sipping the “Drink of the Day”! I have done all sorts of things with the French Vanilla. I keep frozen blueberries, frozen strawberries and frozen bananas in the freezer all the time. Sometimes I add 1/4 cup Kashi to the top for crunch. Here is my Strawberry Crunch! It’s a great treat after a workout on a hot day! And you get your dairy in! It also taste great with Peanut Butter and frozen banana’s. Yum. “love the life you live, live the life you love”
Light Italian Bread
This is my favorite bread for sandwiches, French Toast and garlic toast. 1 PPV per piece. I like it the most because the pieces are BIG and I don’t feel cheated. You can buy this just about anywhere……. “love the life you live, live the life you love”
Laughing Cow Cream Cheese Spreads
They have SO many favors! I have tried them all! They are 1 PPV for one wedge. I actually think on some of the favors, you can have TWO wedges for 1 PPV. These are just a few of the flavors……they have many more! The Strawberries & Cream taste great on toast, fruit, waffles and bagel thins…..just to name a few. The Garlic & Herb is great for raw veggies or mixed in with some pasta! This makes the BEST cinnamon toast and I love it with an apple! I probably use this one the most! In a breakfast burrito? LOVE it! Or just mix it in your scrambled egg whites! It is great with pretzels too! “love the life you live, live the life you love”
Awesome Tortilla’s
These are a favorite of mine. They taste great, they are big and they are filling! They are 2 PPV. Breakfast burritos, sandwich wraps, enchiladas and quesadillas are just a few of the things I like to make with these. I have bought these at Walmart on occasion, but I can always find them at HyVee in the Health Food Department. This brand does make other favors, but they are higher in PPV. Make sure and read your labels! “love the life you live, live the life you love”
Better’n Peanut Butter
This has been my Peanut Butter for a while now. I have discovered in the WW meetings that most people really like it, a few say “no way”. You just have to buy it and try it. I buy the low sodium one. I have purchased it at Target, Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s. Trader Joe’s had the best price. 1 Tablespoon is 1 PPV. “love the life you live, live the life you love”
Playing with my Blog…..
I have had a lot of fun the last couple of days getting my blog all caught up from the weekend. I was up until 1:00 am doing my best to categorize some of my recipes and blogs. I hope I am making it easy to find recipes, PPV and other info! I will try really hard to categorize things as I make them by PPV, and list any new things I make under the recipe page! Not much exciting to report today….so here’s my eats! Breakfast……3 egg whites, toast, plums, a pear smeared with a wedge of Laughing Cow Cheese and of course, my morning coffee. 3 PPV Free food! My neighbor brought these to me from the tree in her backyard and I have just about finished them up! They’re so cute and tiny. Then I headed out to run some errands with the dogs. I was craving […]
Trader Joe’s Bread
This bread was recommended at my WW meeting. It is 1 PPV. It’s very dense, very flavorful, and very satisfying! It also comes in Rye. “love the life you live, live the life you love”
Urg! So much going on! So much food!
Here’s the day in a nutshell. No time to be witty. I am playing catch up on three days of blogs. 7:00 am….Sleep in.9:00 am…..Coffee.10:30 am…..Church.Noon……Breakfast at The Big Biscuit (95th & Nall).1:30 pm…….Toys R Us.3:00……..Birthday Party with Taco’s.5:30…….home to veg……..ahhhhhhh.7:30……Light Dinner…..eggs, toast.8:30 pm……Blog, blog, blog…… This is 1/2 a biscuit and Gravy and fresh fruit. Ignore the food not on this plate. Not mine. 🙂 I completely savored this baby too.I called it 11 PPV. I called the potatoes 2 PPV. I think I was generous. The biscuit really was big. No joke. After a trip down memory lane at the toy store and a very interesting shopping trip with Mike and Tess at Toys R Us, we went to my In-laws for one of our Grandson’s birthday parties. He’s the BIG FOUR! Taco’s were on the menu and there’s no way I can pass up a hard shell […]
Shoe Shopping!
Saturday was another full day! It started off with 9:00 am Bootcamp! I am really liking this whole class thing. Class in the morning gets it done first thing, and a scheduled class in the evening allows me to do what I need to do during the day without feeling like I’m procrastinating about my exercise. I came home and made a nice size, but small PPV breakfast. I tried this new bread from Trader Joe’s that was recommended in my WW meeting. 1 piece is 1 PPV. Highly recommended. Very dense and full of flavor! Scrambled Egg Whites, Toast with Better N Peanut Butter, watermelon and coffee. 3 PPV. After breakfast, Tess and I had another full day planned. Next thing on the list was taking the dogs to the groomer. They LOVED their car ride. It was hilarious! This doesn’t look safe, I know. But we weren’t going […]
Julie and Tess’s Day of Fun!
I started off my day at my WW meeting with my Starbuck’s Nonfat Misto (2 PPV). My weigh-in went as expected…..I messed up again, but at least my mess ups are barely in the 170’s. I know I’ll be here a bit, in the 160’s that is. It just seems to be what I do! Let’s remember……I’m really really good at maintenance! I’ll be 160 something next Friday. July really is crazy with so many things on the calendar. I am debating right now if maybe a plan to maintain until August 1st isn’t such a terrible idea? I don’t think my WW Leader will agree with me on this?? After my meeting, my daughter Tess was coming in town for the weekend, so I met her back at the house. Before we left the house, we ate a little fruit. Banana, strawberries and some watermelon. This was the sweetest […]
