My long walks alone have been really good for reflecting…..or bad for over thinking, I guess it depends on the day’s thoughts. I can’t help but think a lot lately about my body being at goal weight and wondering…..
Will I really look THAT different?
How will my pants fit?
Will my legs look normal?
Will bra shopping be even MORE difficult?
What Bra Cup Size and brand do you buy for skin?
Will I EVER have ankles?
As much as I talk about my dislike for my legs, it does feel good to finally start to see changes.
But I think that I’ve determined….
I accept them, they belong to me.
I respect them, so I will take good care of them.
But I still don’t like them.
I spent the morning reassembling my Grandma’s sewing machine. I’m super excited with the painting results!
It fit in the entry, right where I had imagined it.
But all the excitement about changing around one area of the house led me to…..
Rearranging the items on the mantel, move one large clock from one wall to a completely different room, then back and forth on what I would hang where that clock was, taking down a picture in the living room that has been there for over 10 years and still looking at the space trying to figure out what to put there that I already have, to then changing up the center piece on the table!! And so on and so on and so on. I just counted, and I actually rearranged seven spaces! One of them will change again soon, because I tried too hard to think outside the box, and now I’m so far away from the box, I can’t find the box and it isn’t even funny. It’s the area behind the faucet in front of the kitchen windows. I NEVER know what to put there!!
Note: when deciding to use the sticks that you picked up out of your yard over the weekend, inside your home, first you should clean them of any bugs and spiders!!
I keep playing with this pancake, determined to get it just right!
1 Ripe Banana
1 Packet Sweetener
Mix banana, sweetener and egg, add blueberries. Cook on LOW.
Next time, I’m just going to pour the batter in little Silver Dollar size!
They are just a bit runny when you flip them, but if you don’t flip at just the right time, they do tend to over cook! Smaller is just easier to flip.
