He Might Actually be “The Dog Whisperer”
I spent so much time in yesterday’s post talking about Food, I forgot to tell you all about the Dog Trainer! He came on Monday, and he brought all of these tools! Whistle, Chains, Leashes, Squirt Bottles, a Book and a DVD!
The trainer was here for almost 2 hours, and well, lets just say, I now have a Full Time job. Everything he said, made sense. Dog’s apparently learn just like kids do, you just go about things a little differently, but patience and consistency are crucial. I knew that already, I just did’t know what it is exactly that I am supposed to be being consistent about! Now, I have a clue. I’ll do whatever it takes to get Tucker to only potty and poop outside and for the two of these dog’s to stop with their Bark-a-Thons!
I’ll keep you posted!
Tuesday started off with Yoga, then a trip to Starbuck’s, then lunch with my mom at our updated Grocery Store where we now have an Asian Grill! This is May. She is just super sweet, and she grilled me up some yummy shrimp, rice noodles and some veggies with a little ginger sauce. I’m guessing on those points? I’m giving the bowl of food 10 PointsPlus?
Kate, my daughter, was supposed to come to lunch too, but she wasn’t feeling well, and wasn’t sure she would make it. Well, she DID show up, and guess who Kate brought with her? I just saw little baby Charlotte on Mother’s day, but she looks SO BIG!! I could not stop kissing her chubby little cheeks! Don’t you want to just grab em???
I’ve really missed this little face!
After Yoga and lunch, I ran my mile on the treadmill. That felt really different now that I have been doing that outside. I almost didn’t like it! Before, when I was only running on the treadmill, I didn’t like running outside?? Go figure.
Then I spent a little more time in the kitchen playing with my new vegetable tool. I had enough dinner leftovers from the night before, I knew I didn’t have to cook, but I did need to make some more zucchini noodles!
Now I need more pasta recipes! I’m looking at that avocado that snuck in the picture. I wonder how it taste over zucchini noodles?
The night before, I boiled the zucchini for about 3 minutes. Last night I sautéed it in the skillet with onions and garlic in Garlic Infused Olive Oil. Then I added some tomato sauce, and about 1/4 C. of cooked whole wheat, leftover spaghetti noodles. It’s basically a BIG SKILLET OF VEGGIES!!
Have you tried this bread? It’s really, really good! The crust is super crispy and crunchy, and it isn’t overly buttered or garlicky!
