Cool Mornings, Coffee and Kabobs

I am loving the cool mornings these last couple of days. I can not think of a better way to start the day off than with a cup of coffee on my deck on a cool morning. I can feel Fall a comin and I am ready! I spent most of yesterday morning catching up on the blog (while drinking coffee), and the next few hours playing catch up with my mom (again, more coffee) at her house. I think I had enough coffee yesterday for the entire weekend. I had a good caffeine buzz going!

I got a little meal planning in and some grocery shopping done in the afternoon.

I enjoyed some time on the deck in the evening while making Chicken Kabobs for Mike and a Salmon Kabob for myself.

I had been thinking about making Kabobs for a few days now, and I am so glad that I finally made them. They tasted just as good as I had remembered.

The rest of the evening was super chill watching Football.

Today, a long walk in this gorgeous weather, then who knows what the rest of the day might bring?

Have a great Labor Day!

  1. I know. Egads! So much for my cool walk outside today.

I”m no crazy about 100, my body tenses up like crazy in the 20’s. I’d take 70 nine months out of the year. I wish that could happen in Kansas.

Have a great Labor Day. I’m trying not to Labor, but I’m not doing a very good job at it!!

    🙂

  2. Everyone is talking fall but we are going from this wonderful weekend right back into the frying pan–I’m so over this heat.
I know come January I won’t remember this when I’m standing outside at recess and it feels like 25.
Oh I hope you have a good Labor Day but knowing you–you will labor and not rest–lol.
