WW Members Motivate Me!

I have loved going to my Weight Watcher meetings for a long time and I have been very vocal about that. There is something to be said about being surrounded by a group of people with the same goal in mind, sharing the same struggles and sharing successes along the way.

My schedule hasn’t allowed me to attend my own meeting in several weeks, but being a WW employee now has provided me with the opportunity to regularly be surrounded by these awesome people and be motivated by them.

I subbed as a Weight Watcher Leader in one of our stores yesterday and I LOVED it! WW members truly are just the best people to be around!

Whether attending a WW meeting as a member or as an employee, WW members motivate me to be my best self, and I love them for that!

I am truly loving working as a Leader with my members in the At Work program that WW offers, but working in a store as a Leader yesterday made me even more eager to get my own meeting in a store so I can meet even more members! Meetings are coming to me slowly so I will continue to embrace the ones that I have and I will be patient.

Good things come to those who wait, right?

I wanted to get 5 miles in yesterday, but I only managed 3. I need to get 5+ miles in each day in order to finish the challenge on time!

How are YOU doing on the walking challenge??

I’ve mentioned that I started this at a bad time, and I kind of knew that, but the challenge has definitely forced me to get out and walk on days that I know I wouldn’t have made time for exercise, so I am glad that I decided to go for it!

I really like walking outside when it’s in the 70’s. What happened to my Spring??

I was being so careful yesterday with my points that I ended up with a lot left after dinner, so I made a yummy trail mix and ended the day completely satisfied.

Breakfast – 7 SP

Blueberry Bar on the way to work! These are so handy to keep in the car, or my purse!

I like all of the flavors that I’ve tried, but this seems to be my favorite and I can buy it at Trader Joe’s for $1.99!

(These are $2.79 at Whole Foods…Booo Hiss Hiss)

Lunch – 4 SP

Whole Foods Salad Bar (not cheap either, but always so many great choices!! I love this salad bar!)

Veggies, (that’s Butternut Squash, not Sweet Potatoes) 3 oz Rotisserie Chicken, Balsamic Vinegar and 2 tsp Olive Oil.

I bought a rotisserie chicken and brought that home to add to my lunch.

Snack – 1 SP

I was hot when I got home from my walk and wanted something super refreshing. Fruit plate with 1 tsp Almond Butter and Ice Water with frozen Strawberries.

Dinner – 7 SP

I had leftover grilled veggies from our cookout on Saturday, so I heated those up with 8 oz of Rotisserie Chicken. I really piled on the chicken here, and after tracking my dinner, I realized I still had all sorts of points left for the day!

Snack – 11 SP

I love trail mix, but it can be so high in points. I decided to make up a bowl and it was the perfect after dinner snack to end the day!

10 g Walnuts – 2 sp

20 g Walnuts – 3 sp

Navitas Cocoa Nibs – 2 sp (I tracked it, but I don’t have the serving size in my tracker. I think it was 1 T.)

20 g Dried Cranberries sweetened with Apple Juice (from Whole Foods) – 4 SP

Daily SmartPoints Total = 30

2017 Goals
Make time each week to Meal Plan
Drink 100 ounces of water each day

  1. Yikes! It’s crazy how different they can be priced! My Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s are blocks from each other too! I will say that the Trader Joe’s only has three or four flavors, but at least they have my favorite!

I love that you walk with me!

    Have a great day Latiffany!

  2. Thank you Nancy! I sure do wish you lived here and you were in my meeting room! You boost my ego!

  3. RX Bars are $2.99 at my local County Fair and Whole Foods. I need to check Trader Joe’s. Great job on the walking. I’ve been walking in the cold and dark, but I love getting outside.

  4. I’m sure from visiting here for awhile that the members you lead are thankful that you are a leader.
You have such a bubbly personality—-you rejuvenate those members that are weighed down by their weight.
I’ve been doing WW since the late 60’s and I know a good leader makes all the difference.
So glad weight watchers was smart enough to bring you on board also glad you kept letting them know that too.
