Yesterday morning, I decided I wasn’t going to do anything all day long, and basically, that’s exactly what I did. I enjoyed a relaxed morning chatting with a friend on the phone while I lay in my hammock with a blanket and a cup of coffee. (Yes, that took some talent!) Then I took pictures of my feet. If I am really upset with someone, and I want to be sneaky, I can flip them of with my toe. But only my right toe. Can you do that? You guys, I have a lot of very important hidden talents. I make my mother proud.
Later I took Tucker for a walk. It got HOT early!
I decided to head out and do a little shopping. I bought a couple of things for the front porch. I NEVER know what to put out there. I’d show you a picture, but I can’t decide if I like it or not. Since I’m having to ponder it, I’m thinking I do NOT like it.
I bought knew dog food….(story to follow), then I stopped by a friends house, and sipped on some beer’s while listening to a couple of really good stories.
Then I came home and watched Mike detail his car in the driveway. We got CRAZY this weekend!! Even Tucker found it hard to contain his excitement!
The Dog Food
I ventured out in search of some pet food store where I was supposed to be able to buy Good Quality Grain Free food for my dog’s. Due to a recommendation from the dog trainer, I guess I’m changing up their diet. Well, I found the food. It is dry food, and like all other dry dog food, I was certain they would snub their nose at it. Nope. They ate it up! Lamb and Sweet Potato! Did you know that 10 pound dogs only need about 1/2 C. of food per day?? I did NOT know that! Anywho…..they liked it, and I was surprised to find that it was actually not that expensive!
However……I should have added a little of it to their old food (which we are out of, and the only reason I went dog food shopping in the first place) and gradually worked it into their diet, because Tucker pooped and pee’d all over the bathroom floor in the middle of the night (we have carpet in there!) and Mishka vomited all night, on the same said bathroom carpet! Then Tucker vomited this morning….and when I say morning….I mean like at 4:00 am. Needless to say, it was a restless night for mommy.

This was one of those dishes I made up as I went. I had some shredded chicken and some cooked spaghetti squash. I mixed those two together, added a little chicken broth, then some peas, then a few wedges of Laughing Cow Cream Cheese and Salt and Pepper. It was tasting pretty darned good. It made me think of Chicken Tetrazinni. I topped it with a little parmesan cheese!
