Well, it’s been a great week in the Weight Watcher World, and just in life in general. I’ve been getting things marked off the “Big Project To Do List”, and that always feels great!
It’s also been an awesome week to live in Kansas City! The Chiefs had an awesome game on Monday night Football and the Royals made it into the Playoffs on Tuesday after 12 innings, then won last night in extra innings!
It’s First Friday’s in the crossroads district downtown today (if you live here, and you haven’t been, you REALLY need to go and experience it) and I am spending the entire day with an old friend playing downtown!
It is also the American Royal BBQ this weekend in Kansas City, which is a HUGE annual event!
It’s just a great week to be a Kansas Citian!!
I feel like I am back on track with eating the right foods, and not eating too much of them. I’ve spent a LOT of time at home these last few days, and sometimes that’s where I get into trouble with the mindless snacking. But I kept myself busy and I only went into the kitchen at meal time!
Mike and I had date night last night, and I was feeling a little sassy in my jeans before we went out, so I snapped a picture. 🙂
We used to go listen to this guy, Brian, up the street at Sunset Grill, where we spent a lot of Saturday nights eating dinner, drinking beers and listening to Brian sing. We became really big fans of Brian’s, and he became a part of our weekend routine. Brian moved to Florida a year ago or so, but when he does come back in town, he tries to book a gig, and we try to go! Last night was an awesome date night that included a light dinner, some wine, watching the Royals, and listening to Brian!
I went over on my daily points a little. I did drink a lot of water during dinner and wine drinking. I was very pleased with the scale this morning at home, now off to my WW meeting!
