Not the healthiest weekend, but super fun!
Friday morning started off with my WW meeting, then I took my husband on a lunch date, something we rarely do, but should do more often.
After that, I ran errands the rest of the day doing some grocery shopping, and finding a few fun accessories for my newly decorated “Exercise Room”. It’s almost done. I hope to buy a TV today!
I got home Friday afternoon just in time to make up a big pot of soup for Mike for dinner, then I was off to a friend’s house for a Girl’s Night, celebrating the birthdays of a couple of friends. It was a really fun and late night with these crazy girls.
Saturday, I woke up and hurried to get dressed in order to meet my mom and niece for breakfast at 9:30 to celebrate my nieces birthday. Before I headed out, I double checked my text only to find out we were meeting at 10:30, not 9:30. I took the dogs for a walk.
After brunch, I did some housework and a little cooking in prep for a game night and taco’s at our house. We are going to Mexico soon, so we invited our friends over that we are going with so we could “Pre-party”, chat about our upcoming trip, drink margarita’s and play games. We went to bed at 2:00 am. Such a fun night!
We are going with the same friends that we went on An Unbelievable Vacation with. If you haven’t read it, it’s a little entertaining, and a little unbelievable.
Super excited for vacation!
Sunday, I got up much earlier than I wanted to because my dad was coming over for coffee. After a good chat with him and several cups of coffee, I had a few things that I needed to get done, and a few things that I wanted to get done. I started with the mess from our game night. I rarely go to bed with a messy kitchen after having friends over, but I was pooped and that’s exactly what I did. After clean up, I hung four mirrors in my exercise room and did a few chores. It was almost 5:00 pm when I was done with my “to do list”, and I decided that I was done for the day.
I ate too much this weekend, and I tracked nothing. Friday, the only meal that I ate was lunch on my date with the hubs, then I drank wine and ate foods Friday night that I haven’t been eating. I ended up with a stomach ache.
Saturday, I ate brunch with my mom and niece, then ate nothing until we had friends over. I didn’t overdue on food at our house, but I drank beer, and made everyone, including myself, mini Margarita’s. I did not get in enough water this weekend, and I woke up feeling puffy. Ick.
Sunday, I ate two meals, all good food, but again slacked in my water drinking.
I had a such a great and fun weekend, but I didn’t take very good care of myself.
I want to feel great when we leave for vacation, so back to three meals a day, good food, hydrating, exercise, and plenty of rest.
I hope you all had a Happy and Healthy weekend!
Here are the weekend eats, but I did not count points.

“love the life you live, live the life you love”
Ha Ha! I thought you might read it. I hope he gets to keep his shoes too! I think we are all traveling without jewelry now, and extra shoes.
