Detox…or Wine Tasting?

After a long weekend of adult beverages and eating out, yesterday was a planned sort of detox day. Whole foods, exercise and lots of water.

I started my day off with a great breakfast, then I went to a Weight Watcher meeting for some training. After the meeting, I came home to work on more training online. I ate a healthy lunch at home, I was drinking lots of water and I was planning a long walk in the evening. My day was going great.

Around 6:00, I was still working on the computer, but thinking of getting dinner ready when I remembered that we were invited to a wine tasting party at 6:30. I couldn’t remember the details of the party, but I knew that it was for charity, so at 6:15, we hopped in the car to go to the wine tasting. We hadn’t eaten dinner, and I hadn’t exercised.

While walking to the front door of the house where the party was, I looked at Mike and said…”I think this is a couples thing? What if this is a ladies night thing?”

Mike….”Um, are you serious?”

Me….”Yeah, it just dawned on me that this might not be for couples.”

I stepped into the house to a room full of women while Mike waited outside the front door. I really am an idiot. I told him that I would call him when I was ready to be picked up.

A half a case of wine later, he picked me up.

Not exactly how I thought my day would go.

I’m gonna try that detox thing again today.

The wine event was great! It was your typical “Home Party”, but a portion of each bottle of wine purchased, goes to a charity!

The company is ViaOneHope.com, and the wine was not expensive. Each wine helps a different charity. I loved this whole concept. Enjoy wine, help a charity!

Wine tastings…..Strawberries, one dipped in chocolate…one not. A few crackers and some cheese.

Not at all what I planned for dinner!

These are my 2016 Goals

Make time each week to Meal Plan
Drink 100 ounces of water each day
Exercise 5 days a week
Three Meals and One Snack, Daily

I can eat 30 SmartPoints a day.

I have an allowance of 35 extra Weekly Points that I can dip into throughout the week if I choose.

My Weight Watcher Week Begins on Friday’s

 

Breakfast = 10

Lunch = 10

Dinner = ??

Total = ??

 

Exercise = Well…none.

FitPoints Earned = 0

How many ounces of water I drank for the day = 100+

Remaining Weekly SmartPoints = I’m guessing zero.
