It feels so great to be back in a routine and to feel so in control of life. I have noticed that over the years as a WW member, when I track my food and I take the time to meal plan, I feel so in control. Feeling in control of my food, for some reason makes me feel so much more control in every aspect of my life.
Things feel really good right now.
Yesterday was another full day, just the way I like it.
I got in a great walk at a park by my moms house.
I spent a good part of the day with my mom, having lunch together and taking her to the doctor.
I worked at a great WW meeting last night. WW meetings are always great really.
I got caught up on the TV show Rise. Anyone watching??
I hadn’t been to this park in a long time, but with all the leaves on the trees now it was a really pretty walk.
I met my step goal for the day.
Okay, lets talk food.
I drizzle nut butter on a lot of things. It’s satisfies my sweet tooth.
My current favorite is this Mixed Nut Butter from Trader Joe’s. I’m satisfied with 1 tsp for 1 SmartPoint. When you first open this jar, you really need to spend a bit of time mixing it really well. After that, store it in the fridge and it looks just like this after that! Well, maybe a little thicker at the bottom of the jar, but great for a drizzle!
Here are yesterday’s eats…..
Breakfast – 6 SP
I topped these mini pancakes (4 SP) with wild blueberries. I like to heat up frozen berries for a zero smartpoints pancake topping and a tsp drizzle of Nut Butter (1 SP), Scrambled Egg Whites on the side topped with thinly sliced Avocado (20g = 1SP).
Lunch – 17 SP?
Mom loves IHOP. I ordered a Bunless Burger with an Egg and Avocado. I am guessing on the beef here assuming they use 80/20 beef and guessing on the ounces. Sometimes you just have to guess.
Snack – 7 SP
An RXBar at work and a flavored carbonated water. I needed a snack at work last night. It was an early lunch and I was starving!
Dinner – 6 SP
Leftover Lasagna…There was so much lasagna that we might be eating this for dayzzzzzz
Daily SmartPoints Total – 36
