Tea Time

I absolutely love a warm drink. Coffee. Tea. Heck, I’ll drink warm lemon water.

I like the routine of it. I like holding a warm mug. I like the smell. I really like it when the hubs brings me that first cup of coffee in the morning while I’m still in bed. I like the feeling I get just thinking about that first cup of coffee each morning and my cup of hot tea in the evening before bed. I think I get almost as much satisfaction from thinking about my warm mugs of yumminess as I do drinking them. Someone tell me they get me.

I recently received an email asking if I would like to try a cacao loose leaf tea. I was intrigued and accepted.

I am absolutely loving this Cacao Tea. Thank you Jessica for sending me this!

It has a very mild chocolate flavor without tasting too sweet. It’s smooth and light. I was pleasantly surprised and this package is now empty! I even purchased an electric kettle.

Creating spaces to relax and trying new things.

Mornings, afternoons and evenings, I’m enjoying this tea.

Here is a little fun story to share.

One of my blog readers is an Author! I have no idea why it took me so long to realize this. Diane comments on the blog and when she does it just makes my day. She says the sweetest things and is always so supportive. She has a very kind soul. I can tell. She sent me two of her books about the same time that I received the tea.

I’m reading The Runaway Pastor’s Wife by Diane Moody. Thank you Diane!

Curling up with a cup of tea and a good book in my new space? Yes please.

I am loving this Cacao Tea.

Let me know if you try it!

  1. Hi Mara. Congratulations on making some lifestyle changes and losing a few pounds. It sounds like you’re doing a great job! I’m glad you’re here and thanks for taking the time to comment. The comments always means so much to me. Have a great day!💕

  2. I drink tea during the winter and spring, and coffee the rest of the year. I’m also trying to switch to a healthier lifestyle and started to mine for healthy recipes like yours. Also, I’m training with SportMe running app, and I managed to get rid of some pounds. Your blog posts are super inspiring for me in this phase, thanks!

  3. Ha ha. I wondered where you were. I am glad that post brought a smile to your face. You go order your tea and I’m getting ready to take a long bath and read a great book! Hugs. Stay safe.

  4. Good grief! I’m only 5 days late … with everything else going on, I’m just today catching up on my email and OH MY! Imagine my surprise as I’m reading about your new hot tea and there’s my book! Naturally, I got all choked up reading your sweet comments, and I’m ridiculously humbled to say the least. Thanks for the smile you gave me in this week of so much angst in the world. You’re the best! Oh, and the tea sounds wonderful. Off I go to order some!

  5. You are welcome! Congratulations to you! That is such a great accomplishment. Keep up the great success! Have a happy and healthy week. 😘

  6. Thx, I was going to search for it! Lora Lifer from Mass. Celebrated 3 Lifer years on 3/8/2020!

  7. 🤣 I wanted to be able to share about my electric kettle but honestly I’m a little disappointed in it. I think I need to shop around. A smart person would have returned it right away but nope not me.🙄 I do like the idea of having one though. It just doesn’t keep the water warm for as long as it is supposed to. I’ll shop around and share when I find when I love.

  8. I do love a hot tea. All flavors. If you try the chocolate tea let me know what you think. It was a nice little surprise. Hope you’re doing well! Hugs.

  9. I could have written that first paragraph! I thought I was the only one who falls asleep each night thinking about my morning cup of joe! 😍

  10. I get it, and I do drink hot lemon water. I bet you have a special cup too. I do! Don’t touch my cup!

  11. Chocolate tea-intriguing, but inquiring minds really wanna know: what kind of electric tea kettle is that? Wicked cool looking!

  12. I have never drank coffee but I love my tea.
I’ve only had flavored tea out at restaurants (peach & raspberry are my favorites.)
I’m wondering if I would like chocolate tea??
Something I don’t have to wonder about is having a good book to read.
Oh, you said new space and I just realized you meant your new deck.
    It looks amazing!
