WW Virtual Workshops

Obviously I would love nothing more than to be doing my job in person, hugging members, making eye contact, having one on one conversations about how the week went, asking how life is going outside of WW, but it’s just not happening right now, so I’m seeking out all of the positive experiences about this whole Virtual Workshop thing.

Maybe you’re not a WW member and you’ve got your own Virtual life happening right now? Family time? Teaching? Meetings? Classes? It’s weird, but I do find the whole experience much more personal than I ever thought that I would. Also, I have learned so much. I’m having fun trying to stay creative with the Zoom experience and make the Virtual Workshop feel like a Studio Workshop as much as possible. Knowing we will be virtual through May 30th, I am thinking about how many different locations I could set up an office and what that might look like. If I’m gonna be sitting behind this computer, I might as well go see some stuff and take y’all with me.

Working from my deck one morning went well as it was a quiet morning outside that day. No background noise to interfere. Switching things up got me thinking about working from Effie. Where could I take her? What would that look like for members?

After camping out with friends, I decided to spend the night and work from Effie the following day.

I mean why not??

After my Workshops, I made myself a nice brunch and thought about where I should take Effie. Not too far from home, but hoping to camp on a lake soon.

The weather started clouding up, and I didn’t want to try my evening Workshop in a travel trailer in a storm. Didn’t seem like the best idea, so I packed up and make the long trip home. 20 minutes.

Leftover day. Every. Single. Meal.

Brunch

I packed a few things from home that would make for an easy breakfast. I heated up leftover fajita veggies in my little skillet on an electric burner before cooking my eggs. Easy little set up here.

Snack

Leftovers from Girls night.

Dinner

Leftover Taco fixin’s. I thought I took a picture? Anyhow, simple Turkey Taco meat, black beans, corn and a little cheese. Tasty. Easy. Leftovers.

This is the first day I’ve missed getting a daily post out in a long time! Now I gotta fill up my coffee cup so I can tell you all about yesterday in my next post.

Happy Saturday Morning! It’s a beautiful morning in Kansas City!

What are you doing today? Chillin? Working? Chores? Taking a drive? Cooking?

Tell me.
