Productive with a Little Fun

Hi Friends. Happy Sunday to you all. I’ll keep this super short (and I’m sorry, but also very boring) today as I believe we have some grandkids coming over soon and I want to get my walk in!

Yesterday morning was a nice 3 mile walk while catching up with Tess on the phone.

Her and Manuel will be here in just a few short weeks for Thanksgiving! After spending time with the whole family at the cabin last month, it sure does feel good knowing we will all be together again so soon after such a crazy time of not being able to be together.

After my walk I grabbed a shower and headed to Jordan’s baby shower. Grand-baby number 10 is due January 6th and we can hardly wait!

After the shower some serious yard work. It was gorgeous outside yesterday and we have another gorgeous one ahead of us today.

My gift to myself yesterday? An evening spent with friends sitting around the fire pit. I love these kind of fall nights. Jeans, sweaters, fire, and a good time with good friends. Happy to have discovered my new non-alcohol beer.

It was a good day!

Breakfast

Coffee and Almond Milk

Lunch

Random Chicken breast I had leftover, fruit and nut butter.

Snack

Un-pictured veggies and dip and a fruit kabob.

Dinner

Simple salad with mixed greens, tomatoes buried in there somewhere, chicken and bacon.

Go Chiefs!

I hope it’s prettier than last weekend!

Have an amazing day!

  1. I seriously cannot believe we’re going to have 10 little ones. Yours will come! Just think about how excited you will be when they finally get here! 🥰🥰 But you know I’m always happy to share mine with everyone. Go Chiefs! Go Titans!

  2. Grandbaby #10 on the way … you are blessed beyond measure! (I’m still waiting for one of my kids to get married, so no grandbabies yet on my end. Which is one of the reasons I always enjoy when you share yours with us!) What a wonderful fall you’re having! Have a great week. Oh, and congrats to both of us for our teams’ wins yesterday!
