She’s so Crafty!

One of my high school friends, Betsy, is always making something. A bench, a table, cute signs, shelves….you name it! Several weeks ago I sent her a text telling her we should make this snowman sign I’d found. She agreed that it looked like a fun project. I also requested a tray. I gave her the dimensions, the color and told her I wanted an “F” on it. She finished it this week. Isn’t it cute? It’s exactly what I imagined for the living room to set on the sectional to sit my coffee on in the mornings.

We are still working on Frosty’s finishing touches but we’re both super happy with how he’s turning out.

My gift to myself yesterday……playing over at Betsy’s house. I love a good craft day!

Activity

40 minute strength training. She’s really switching up the workouts for me and I like that!

Breakfast

1 Egg, 3 Egg White Omelet with avocado. Blueberries warmed in the microwave with 2 T granola and topped with 2 tsp almond butter.

Snack

24 almonds

Dinner

I made soup from the leftover smoked turkey. No recipe. Threw some things together. Think your basic chicken soup. Celery, onions, carrots, turkey, stock, corn and some frozen gluten free egg noodles I had. This was tasty!

Short today. Busy day!

I hope you had a great day today!

  1. I love the tray! She did a great job! Note to self: Take lessons from Betsy.🤣🤣 your comment reminded me of the pottery places. I know they’re still around. Do you have those there? That was always a fun crafty day. Tess actually pulled out a Christmas mug I made for my grandma years ago. I’ll have to post it in the blog. ❤️❤️ happy Wednesday to you Diane!

  2. Oh, to have a crafty friend like Betsy! How FUN to create such fun projects! The tray is so classy and Frosty, well I just think he’s the cutest! We used to have a shop here in our little town that did projects like those and I always intended to go. But they closed and I think there’s already been 2 other shops in there that opened then closed. Small towns like ours can’t support much these days. Though now it’s a coffee shop that I love. Sorry for the ramble. Your breakfast looks wonderful. I’ll have to try the granola, nut spread and blueberries. YUM! Have a great Wednesday!
