We are headed to the lake for a long weekend with some of Mike’s co-workers. Rebecca, my running partner, and my wine trip partner, and one of my favorite girls, will be there along with her husband, Tim! Tim and Mike have been friends since junior high, but they also happen to work together!
Rebecca and I plan to walk every morning, and she’s a healthy eater, so that will make healthy choices so much easier! However, we can each talk each other into “just one more drink” too!
Mike and I have dinner and breakfast for one day, so I’ve planned a Chicken Taco Bar for dinner and a Light Breakfast Casserole for breakfast. Lunch will be out and about at a fun Lake Bar, where I will be challenged by beverages and fries!!!
I’ve got my workout clothes packed for long morning walks, I’m taking lots of water and lots of fruits and veggies for snacking. At least I do have a plan.
Tucker is being boarded for the first time since we’ve had him. I’m feeling a little weird about it, but we are boarding him with the trainer that we have been working with, so maybe this will be a really good experience for all involved?
Keeping it short today! I’ve got veggies to cut up, chicken to cook, Yoga to go to, a ONE mile run to get in, and I’m taking my Little Sis, Samone, to the Nelson-Atkins Museum today!
We’re leaving EARLY in the morning for the lake so the boys can get in a Ozarks golf game, and then we can get out on the boat, my favorite part!!

1 slice of 2% Cheddar Cheese, Guac
Shredded Chicken…along with some
un-pictured Potato Chips and Half of a Brownie!
6 oz. Chobani Plain Greek Yogurt, 1 Packet of Stevia
mixed with Pineapple, Strawberries and Banana Slices
topped with a dash of cinnamon, which was a delicious addition!!
4 Egg White Omelet
with Red Bell Peppers, Red Onions
2% Cheddar Cheese, Salsa
