Sometimes….it’s all in the planning

Have you ever packed a snack to go, then left the house without it? I have such good intentions sometimes, but this is something I’ve done often.

I’m trying to eat breakfast just a little bit later, and pack a snack to have with me around noon so I don’t eat too many points for lunch while I’m working at the Food Truck. I know this is a good idea for me, and when I remember to take my snack with me, it’s a successful plan!

Yesterday, I peeled an orange and cut up an apple so I would have a snack to take with me when I left the house. As I put it back in the fridge, I thought….I know I’m going to forget to take that with me when I leave.

So I put my car keys in the fridge.



Yes, I did panic for two to three seconds when I couldn’t find my keys in my purse when it was time to leave. I’m also the person that scurries around the house looking for my cell phone, only to realize I’m talking on it, and likely telling whoever is on the other end that i can’t find my phone! I can be a mess.

The car key thing worked, I remembered my snack, and I made great choices the rest of the day!

Yesterday’s activity? 60 minutes of Hot Yoga! It was an awesome class. I was sweating like crazy within the first 10 minutes. I felt a good 3 pounds lighter when I left Yoga!

I haven’t been to a meeting in four weeks or more, but I have been weighing. I weighed this morning and I’ve weighed 172 now for weeks….wait….months.

I’d like to get back to my January frame of mind and see 169 within the next two weeks. I’m hoping that seeing 160′ something instead of 170 something will get me motivated to get back to my goal weight of 160!

Activity Points Earned for the Day = 3, but I PROMISE you….I earned more than 3 points in that Hot Yoga Class!!

This is What I Will Accomplish in 2015

I will choose one occasion per month for Social Drinking (um…this is a work in progress)
I will go no more than two days in a row without exercise.
I will track every single day for the entire year. No matter what.
I will RUN in a minimum of six 5K’s. One down, 5 to go!
