Coffee, Coffee…and more Coffee

First let me start with, I was busy yesterday, and I was having fun yesterday, so I was a bit distracted and forgot to take pictures of a lot of my food throughout the day. I tracked my food last night and I think it’s pretty accurate.

I love starting off these cool mornings with a coffee on the deck while listening to my dogs bark at all the squirrels and the bunnies and other dogs. So peaceful. That was my first cup of coffee yesterday.

Then I picked up a girlfriend and we took a trip to the Louisburg Cider Mill. Every Fall, I like to go there and look at all of the varieties of Apple Butter, Peach Butter, Cider, Soup Mixes, Knick Knacks, and my favorite of everything there…this Pumpkin Butter.

After shopping and picking out a few things along with my Pumpkin Butter, we sat outside and had another coffee and shared one of their famous cider donuts. I am so ready for Fall weather.

I spent the rest of the day trying to finish cleaning my house. I’m hoping by the end of the week, to be done scouring. Apparently, I need to schedule a carpet cleaning because I had a dream that my carpet turned into a dirt floor! Do you ever feel like you just can’t get the whole house clean before it’s time to clean it again?

I ended my day with a Jazzercise class and dinner with a friend, while sipping coffee outside. It was a great day!

I hope that your day was great too!

I’m working the food truck today, tomorrow and Thursday, so I’m packing a lunch everyday. Hopefully I remember to take it with me when I walk out the door!

Here are yesterday’s eats…..

Snack – 4 PPV

Un-Pictured Walnuts and Raisins, and a few bites of White Chili. I was making dinner for Mike, and I was playing with a recipe.

Dinner – 10 PPV

I was so hungry, I forgot to take a picture! I met a girlfriend of mine at Jazzercise and then we went out for dinner. My daughter was a bridesmaid in her daughters wedding a couple of weeks ago, and we had lots to catch up on, so taking a picture was the last thing on my mind.

I ate some yummy Chicken Skewers with Bell Peppers, Onions and Zucchini. (8 PPV) I ordered a Bud Light bottle, drank half of it (2 PPV) then wished I hadn’t ordered it and ordered coffee. I drank a ton of water and way too much coffee yesterday. We were sitting outside and it was cool out, and the coffee tasted so good! It also seems to be my “drink” when I’m not drinking.

All in all, a pretty successful day.

Weight Watcher’s Points Plus

I can eat 26 PPV a day.

I can earn Activity Points by doing exercise, and eat them if I choose.

I have an allowance of 49 extra points that I can dip into throughout the week if I choose.

I should drink a minimum of 6 (8 oz) glasses of water each day.

  1. Oh a girl at my WW meeting told us about a pumpkin butter recipes that she got at Trader Joe’s.
You shred Brussels sprouts and put them in a baking dish, next put the pumpkin butter on top and some sea salt and bake.
When she told us I thought I don’t know about this—-but it was good.
