Well, it was a good thing yesterday started off with a nice walk, because the rest of the day ended up being an unplanned pub crawl. Okay, it really wasn’t too bad, but we did go to three bars, and we did have three beers, but it definitely wasn’t a part of my plan for the week!
Tess came in town to watch the Royals play on Sunday night, we spent Monday playing in the city, then I took her to the airport at 5:30 this morning! It’s been a crazy couple of days here!
Yesterday, Tess and I had a productive morning that included a 4.5 mile walk. Later in the afternoon, we found ourselves downtown at Anton’s Tap Room, where I had a pumpkin ale, and we shared sliders and shrimp!
These little sliders were awesome!
The shrimp wasn’t too shabby either.
Our next stop was a place called the Cashew, where we had an Oktoberfest beer! It was cold, it was different, it was delicious!
We ended our mini pub crawl in Westport at Kelly’s.
We hit the grocery store on the way home, and bought a few things to throw on the grill. It was now 8:30, and we hadn’t really eaten much, which made grocery shopping tough. We bought cheese to snack on and a little tray of sushi. I didn’t take pictures, but we snacked on that while we grilled up the rest of the meal.
I’m going to have to guess on the snacking that I did.
It was an awesome unexpected play day but I consumed WAY too many calories and points!

Today, I got out the door early and Walked EIGHT miles!!! I plan to drink lots of water and make up for those extra points yesterday!

It sounds like you had a great day with your daughter and while you went over on your points, you still tracked everything and got off to a good start this morning. I’m hoping my Cardinals will meet your Royals in the series this fall:)
