I don’t mind the Gluten Free Bread, I actually like it, but I was missing my Trader Joe’s bread for my morning toast! The Gluten Free Bread that I’ve been eating is 2 PointsPlus per slice, and my Trader Joe’s bread is only 1 PointsPlus per slice, so I went all out for breakfast and had two pieces of toast! Ahhh……the little things.
Then I made up some yummy cookies made with Oatmeal, Bananas, Applesauce, Peanut Butter, Cocoa Powder and Vanilla. They were pretty tasty….kind of a Banana Cookie? I was making them so I would have a sweet option for myself at a Jewelry party that I am hosting tonight. I did NOT make them for my lunch yesterday. I ate 1 to taste, then I ate 1 more, then I ate 2 more, and then I ate 2 more, and then….uh huh, I ate 2 more. So I guess that was lunch. It’s basically like I had two big bowls of oatmeal for lunch, so I’m not beating myself up, but…..I did eat a bunch of cookies for lunch.
I had a healthy snack/lunch later in the afternoon, and then I snacked off and on for the next three or four hours. Little bites. 3 almonds here, 3 almonds there, a bite of granola, a banana, 2 more cookies……
I counted it all, but i did not take pictures.
When dinner time came, I wasn’t hungry, so I didn’t eat.
So, as weird of a food day as it was for me, I still ate good food, just at odd times. I drank my water, and at about 9:00 pm, I was hungry so I had an apple and some hot tea. It did the trick, and I ended my Snackin Day feeling successful after all.

Well dang, I wish I could remember where I got them. Thanks for the info though.

I used to sell Southern Living at HOME and Gail Pittman is a big designer that collaborated. You have a gem there! Gail has designed dishes for Oprah and other stars. I am sure Reba has a set on display on her TV show! Food always looks better on a pretty plate!! 🙂
I’m not real sure on the popcorn. 1 teaspoon of coconut oil is 1 PointsPlus in the WW tracker, and 5 cups of air popped popcorn is 4 PointsPlus. When I’m in doubt, I just go with what the tracker tells me even though I might question it? Does that help at all?
I had no idea on the plate, so I turned it over, and YES, it is! I have no idea where I got those. I only have two of them. I have several random plates, and I will buy one plate if it’s on clearance all by itself and I like the design, or even at a thrift store. I like plates! 🙂
I made popcorn in the microwave with 1 teaspoon coconut oil (recipe said 1/4 cup but I had a lot of unpopped) and popcorn states 1 serving is 2 Tablespoons = 5 cups air popped. How would you figure out the points on this? It looked like most of the oil was on the bag! Thoughts? Also, is that a Gail Pitman plate/bowl??
Here is a link with a few of my favorite Trader Joe’s items, and a few other finds too. I will say that my daughter’s Trader Joe store in Dallas doesn’t have this bread?? I hope you can find it in your store. The loaves are small, but I like the taste…and the PointsPlus!

What type of Trader Joe’s bread do you use? It looks good for just 1 point and I’m guessing that they have several different varieties.
