That’s how long I have to wait to go back to Jazzercise, and probably 10-12 Weeks for Yoga.
They took new X-rays, and the doc say’s…”Yep, that’s a good clean break!” Me…”Um, what’s that mean. Clean?”
My understanding is that the break is a straight line and that it should heal well. I’m just super happy I didn’t mess up the Rotator Cuff Surgery. That was my biggest concern.
Doc say’s….
- Wear a sling at all times to limit movement and speed heating.
- No lifting.
- Come back in 5 Weeks.
- Walking only for exercise, flat surface, not too fast. (Basically, don’t fall down. They know me so well!)
- Maybe don’t drink Fireball Shots and Beer on an empty stomach. Maybe just never drink Fireball shots.
So, I came home and walked 1 mile on the treadmill. Yay! I’ve earned TWO Activity Points for the week! Whoo! Whoo!!
Here are yesterday’s eats…….
Breakfast
4 Scrambled Egg Whites, 1/4 C Black Beans
Cherry Tomatoes, Salsa
Gluten Free Toast, Smear of Almond Butter
Pear with Cinnamon
Frothy Coffee
6 PPV
Lunch
Tuna Patty, Spinach, Tomatoes
1 tsp Lemon Infused Olive Oil
1 T. Light Mayo with Lemon Juice and Pepper
Un-pictured – One Tuna Patty
8 PPV
I made these Tuna Patty’s a few weeks ago, and put the leftovers in the freezer. While looking for something different for lunch, I decided to thaw them out, and see how they would cook up. I was pleasantly surprised and they tasted pretty darned good, so I ate TWO!
Snack
Cherry Chocolate Smoothie
1 PPV
The smoothies are totally satisfying my sweet tooth!
Snack
1 T. Almond Butter on Toast with Honey Drizzle
7 PPV
A friend of mine made this bread yesterday using Almond Flour, Butter, Greek Yogurt…..and I can’t remember what else. She brought a piece over for me to try and it was a perfect afternoon snack with some Hot Green Chai Tea!
I’m guessing on the points here……
Dinner
Light English Muffin, 1 Egg, Smear of Guacamole
Apple, Pear, Orange
6 PPV
I need to plan some dinners. I’ve been pulling out of the fridge whatever I see first. I hadn’t had one of these Light English Muffins since sometime in December, and it tasted so good! I realized after dinner, that I had more than my share of bread for the day!

“love the life you live, live the life you love”
I made those for my husband and I made salmon patties for myself that day, so I’m not exactly sure what I used when I put those together.
I know that I used a 12 oz can of Tuna, packed in water, and 1 egg. I’ll assume I used 1/2 C of seasoned bread crumbs and a few extra seasonings? The total points for those ingredients is about 18 Points, and I think that I made 5 patties, so each patty alone would be about 3 PointsPlus.
I cooked them yesterday in a nonstick skillet with 1 tsp of Lemon Infused Olive Oil until brown and crispy on each side.
Sorry I couldn’t be more precise, but I hope that helps a little.
how did you make your tuna patties?
