Quick Hello

I had this all ready to post this morning, and then forgot to post it!

I rolled out of bed yesterday morning and thought it would be fun to have breakfast and do a little work in Effie. The weather forecast included storms and hail in the afternoon so I knew I wouldn’t be there long, but I’m feeling very fortunate right now to have my little Happy Place that I can visit.

I paid bills, read emails…..coffee…..coffee…..coffee. Several times, I closed my eyes and felt my toes in my faux fur rug. I don’t hate it. Do they make faux fur slippers? That would be amazing! I’ll Amazon search that today.

I found this packet of Nut Butter in my camper cupboard. Happy surprise to add to my bowl.

Breakfast

Two Good Yogurt with Berries and Nut Butter

Snack

Roasted Butternut Squash sprinkled with Cinnamon

Dinner

Aidells Roasted Garlic and Gruyere Smoked Chicken Sausage (6 SP), Air Fryer Zucchini Fries (these need some work, but I’ll try them again for sure) and Skillet Green Beans.

Snack

Last night I felt hungry all evening, so I ate. Dried Apricots, Raw Unsalted Cashews and Medjool Dates (Thank you Ronda for making these a staple in this house).

Activity

Um, I forgot? I was going to get in extra steps yesterday to make up for my lack of steps on Monday, then I didn’t. You feel me? At 8:30 last night it dawned on me that I never did go for a walk. I know I’m not alone here in the fact that often we have great intentions, then it just doesn’t happen. While I would like to blame the cloudy weather, that would just be an excuse.

I will get my steps in today! I like my walks.

  2. Your welcome! I actually ate 3 medjools strait from the freezer yesterday afternoon – thinking maybe my bod just needed some potassium and a vitamin boost!
