Coffee & Weekend Chores

Good morning! It’s Sunday and its my favorite “coffee in bed” morning. I’m kidding. Every morning is my favorite “coffee in bed” morning. When I’m behaving myself, Mike brings me coffee in bed, and THAT is the best “coffee in bed” morning. I try to behave as often as possible.

Today is Mikes birthday and he’s out the door for a cool morning of golf. I didn’t get to painting the trim for the living room floors yesterday, so I’ll be in the garage working on that, doing a few chores and hope to do a little meal planning for the week. It’ll be a good “get stuff done” day.

It’s Halloween! Trick or Treat for you?

What will you do tonight?

Trick or Treat with a few little ones?

Hand out candy? Dress up and hand out candy?

Turn off all the lights and hide in your house?

We’ve done all of those. It is also our daughter Kate’s birthday, so we’ll likely trick or treat with her and her family.

Off to “get stuff done”!

Breakfast

This bread is kinda pricey $$ and also WW Points, but I like to keep it in the freezer for an occasion meal.

I love our deck for the sun shine it provides for food pics!

Egg Whites scrambled with cherry tomatoes and Avocado toast.

Due to a late breakfast with lots of protein in those egg whites and knowing we were going out to dinner, lunch never happened.

Dinner

Mike and I had a date night at a steak house for his birthday. We shared an order of Calamari, one of our favorite appetizers then I ordered this ginormous salad.

I’ll end todays post with pics from my walk yesterday.

This tree in our neighborhood is always the tree I notice to first change. It’s gorgeous. While there are a few gorgeous trees right now, few have changed colors.
