A Dang Good Birthday!

Tess brought me coffee in bed and we hadn’t sat in bed together having coffee in forever. It was a great way to start my day.

My Gift to Myself?

After coffee, I went for a two hour massage that included hot stones, a facial massage and a peppermint foot scrub. I walked out feeling relaxed and happy.

Activity

Tess and Manuel ran a few errands for me while I got my workout in which was a 40 minute lower body workout that left this 55 year old feeling strong!

We then spent the afternoon making arrangements for the tables for Thanksgiving.

I requested a steak dinner at home. Manuel has spent a lot of time mastering the art of grilling and I knew he’d grill us the perfect steak, and he did. While he did the steaks, Tess prepared Brussels Sprouts. Mike and I sat at the bar and watched. Dinner was perfect!

We ended the night in the living room with a fire going and rented Cruella. Have you watched it? it’s another long movie but it was SO good!

My Oatmeal Thingymabob with all of my favorites added in. Blueberries, walnuts, pumpkin, topped with more blueberries, bananas and pure maple syrup.

Dinner

Filet, roasted brussels sprouts, mac & cheese and a fake beer. This was the best steak I’ve had in really long time.

I almost didn’t get a post in today! Sorry its short and boring.
