I’m limited on time, so I’ll spare you all of the details of all of the thoughts of food and drink that I had in my head all day long yesterday!
I was hosting a jewelry party, and I had healthy snacks planned, and I was stocked up on Beer and Wine.
I started my day with a 30 minute Core Yoga class, followed by a 60 minute (standard) Yoga class, followed by a 75 minutes Stretch Yoga class.
I drank lots of water throughout the day.
If you read my blog regularly, then you know that I gave up alcohol for the month of January in an extra effort to get the scale going in the downward direction. It’s working for me..
At 6:00 pm yesterday, I could no longer stand the thought of the unopened bottles of wine on my counter top, so I opened a bottle. I poured a 6 ounce glass. I swirled it and I put my nose in the glass and inhaled. It was a beautiful thing. I took a sip. I took another sip. And then I simply sipped on that one glass of wine for the rest of the night. I filled up my water bottle several times throughout the rest of the evening.
It felt like a huge accomplishment.
I did snack all night long on too many almonds, and likely too many baked chips and guac. I am giving myself a good guess on just how many points I ate. The scale is cooperating with me this week, and I really don’t want to mess it up.
I won’t be able to go to my meeting on Friday morning, but I will be going on Saturday, and I’m hoping for at least a one pound loss, but more would be great!
Here are yesterday’s eats, with a guess as best as I can for the evening.
Peanut Butter Oatmeal
93% Lean Ground Turkey cooked with Garlic and Onion.
I then added Bell Peppers, Zucchini, 1 can of Fire Roasted Tomatoes.
Topped with Parmesan Cheese
1 C. Almond Milk, 1 C Frozen Blueberries
1/2 Frozen Banana, 1 packet Raw Stevia
Topped with a little Homemade Granola
Too Many…..Raw Almonds, Veggies, Hummus, Baked Chips, Guacamole
Weight Watcher’s Points Plus
I can eat 26 PPV a day.
I can earn Activity Points by doing exercise, and eat them if I choose.
I have an allowance of 49 extra points that I can dip into throughout the week if I choose.
I should drink a minimum of 6 (8 oz) glasses of water each day.
My Weight Watcher Week Begins on Friday’s
Breakfast = Oatmeal, Frothy Coffee (6)
Lunch = Turkey Bowl (8)
Snack = Smoothie (2)
Party Snacks = Almonds, Chips, Guac, Veggies, Hummus (25)
Total = 41
Exercise = 3 Yoga Classes
Activity Points Earned for the Day = 8
Activity Points Earned This Week = 18
Activity Points Remaining This Week = 14
How many ounces of water I drank for the day = 100+
Remaining points from my 49 Points Allowance = 32
This is What I Will Accomplish in 2015
- I will choose one occasion per month for Social Drinking
- I will go no more than two days in a row without some sort of exercise. (unless I’m sick)
- I will track every single day for the entire year. No matter what. I’ll track if I eat 26 points, I’ll track if I eat 76 points.
- I will RUN in a minimum of six 5K’s
