Loving Some of the Pinterest Ideas!
I’ve been spending a little bit of time looking on Pinterest for a few decorating ideas for the front porch, the mantel, and a few different ideas on what to do with lanterns.
I finished up the decorating on Tuesday and I am loving some of the Pinterest ideas!
My pictures are dark and don’t really do any of my decorating any justice, but I’m in a hurry and it’s all I’ve got! 🙂
I’ve never done pots on the porch before for Christmas. Not sure how I feel about them. Usually I have my childhood wooden sled propped up on one side. hmmmm…..this may change.
I do like this guy though…..
I set a wreath on top of the pot, added a few sticks and pine cones and ornaments.
Pretty simple.
I had fun filling up my lanterns. Here is lantern number one!
This is just inside the front door.
I am so happy I bought that chalk board!!
Amazed at what greenery, pine cones and a couple of ornaments can do!
What you see when you walk in the front door!
The view coming in from the garage. I love my new silver Walmart Tree!
Beside that silver tree is my small snowman collection!
This is just around the corner from the previous view. I really have a lot going on in this little space!
Ahhhh. Our Christmas Tree.
The tree that is practically older than me! Mike has had it for years! It has those color coded branches. I have fallen in love with the silly thing, so we may just have it forever.
Lantern number two!
I am loving the silver painted wine bottles from my friend, Niki! Pinterest!!
My theme the last few years is simply Red White and Silver.
How many of you have one of these??? Mine belonged to my Grandma.
I love to put my Santa Pitcher on top of the piano that belonged to my other Grandma.
My dad made this out of sticks from our yard when I was a kid.
I think our next door neighbor painted the figurines?
I’ve had this Manger Scene forever!
Inside there is a blue light to look like the moon is shining in on them.
That may be my favorite part! Well, you know, except for baby Jesus.
I pack up that little bit of straw every year!
The figurines are packed in newspaper from the early 80’s!! I just can’t seem to throw it away!
Tess pinned this idea last night on Pinterest and i loved it!
This was about the easiest thing I did all day!
Mike noticed it as soon as he walked in the house and said he really liked it!
The kitchen window…..
One more lantern…..
I had a great “Food” day again and drank lots of water. I can feel the puffiness from all the salty food going down. Yay.
