Eat Fat, Feel Fat. Eat Lean, Feel Lean.

You really are what you eat.

When I eat fatty food’s or unhealthy foods, I feel unhealthy and fat. 

When I eat lean meats and fruits and veggies and whole grains, I feel healthy, I feel lean, no matter what the scale says.

I feel so good when I make goals and recommit. One of my blog readers made a comment on my recent post, “Weight Loss and Socializing”. I mentioned in this post that I would only drink alcohol one time per week, and keep all trigger foods out of the house. Here is her comment.

“I think alcohol is a real problem with weight loss. I love my glass of wine, but it prevents weight loss and usually mean pounds creeping back on for me. The once a week limit sounds good to me. Also trigger food out of the house…goodbye chips! I struggle with getting in water, fruit, eating out of boredom. I do exercise 4-5 times a week, also love yoga, Pilates, Zumba, so that helps me. We need to forgive ourselves for yesterday’s unhealthy choices, recommit each day to those healthy choices. You really do inspire me. We will reach our goals!!”

I love when she mentioned the need to recommit each day to healthy choices. It feels good to wake up and make that commitment to make healthy choices today!

I’m running ONE mile everyday, and it is absolutely amazing when I go out for that run, how differently my body feels based on what I have eaten in the last 24 hours. Yesterday’s run really felt good. I’m sure a lot of it is because I feel focused, but I felt lighter on my feet and I felt full of energy. I ended up running a MILE and a HALF, (I realize this is not a big deal, but I can’t believe how much easier it is now than a few months back) walking a mile, mowing the yard, trimming three tree’s which then meant cutting up all of the branches and bagging them, then I went around all of the mulched areas and pulled any weeds. I have no idea how long I was outside yesterday, but I drank 15 glasses of water throughout the day, AND….I was very pleased with the scale this morning!

Weight Watcher’s Points Plus

I can eat 26 PPV a day.

I can earn Activity Points by doing exercise, and eat them if I choose.

I have an allowance of 49 extra points that I can dip into throughout the week if I choose.

I should drink a minimum of 6 (8 oz) glasses of water each day.

Exercise = RAN 1.5 Miles, Walked 1 Mile, Mowed, Trimmed three tree’s and cleaned it all up!
