A Day in Control

I’ve got a full day today, so I’m keeping this super short! I didn’t get a post written yesterday, and I struggled on Tuesday to make the best food choices. I was gone all day, then didn’t take pictures, but basically I ate meat and tortilla’s and a few pieces of fruit.

Yesterday, I was back on track, and it felt good to be in control.

Breakfast

Frothy Coffee

Oatmeal topped with Warm Cinnamon Apples

5 PPV

Lunch at the Food Truck

Shredded Chicken, Chipotle Mayo and Secret Sauce!

8 PPV

Snack

Dinner

Salmon, Baked Sweet Potato

Grilled Zucchini topped with 1 T. Parmesan

14 PPV

I cooked the Salmon in 1 tsp of Lemon Infused Olive Oil, and the Zucchini in 1 tsp of the same Olive Oil. It made this whole meal taste so good! I’ve been eating my baked sweet potatoes with absolutely nothing on them. They are so creamy if you simply mash them up!

  1. Kathy,

Thank you so much for you kind words.

Sometimes I wonder if readers get tired of me being “on the program”, then “partying like I’m 20 something”, but the fact that you like my honesty, makes me feel better! I’ve said all along that I would never quit, and knowing that keeps me wanting to, like you say, keep plugging along. If I did quit, I know I would gain it all back, and likely then some.

    Thanks for reading.

    🙂

  2. Julie,
I am a fellow WW member and love your blog. We seem to struggle with many of the same issues and I, like you, just keep plugging along. Thank you for your honesty. For me, the fact that you are real, is the most helpful thing.
