Work, Steps and Parties

What a full and fun Saturday!

I was in bed and asleep before 9:30!

I had the opportunity to lead two WW meetings yesterday morning and they both went great. The members run the meeting really. These two particular meetings have awesome members that share, support and encourage each other. It was a great morning!

I got in a good walk and for the first time this week, I got over 10,000 steps. Yay!

Mike and I went to a graduation party, then took a drive in the convertible and went out for dinner. It was the perfect day for a top down drive. (the car, not me, silly.)

After dinner, off to a Cinco De Mayo party. I skipped the food at the party (and the host is my friend Linda, who is Mexican, and she cooked up a beautiful spread of Mexican food!) and I sipped on LaCroix in my fancy glass. I had a great time, I felt very in control. I enjoyed seeing lots of friends that I hadn’t seen in a long time and I focused on the people, not the food. By 8:30, I was pooped and we came home. It had been a really full day. I got a ton of sleep as you can see in my fitbit picture above.

Awesome Saturday!

I ate some odd things yesterday, but I was really trying to be mindful of my hunger and use up what was in the fridge to avoid throwing anything away. Keep that in mind as you look at what I ate. lol

Breakfast- 7 SP

I took this bar and ate it in between WW meetings.

Weird Snack – 3 SP

I was hungry when I got home, so opted for a simple protein snack. I found this roast beef at Trader Joe’s. I rolled up two slices and put it in some crunchy celery. I liked it, so I did again. Hunger, satisfied. Snack, tasty!

4 Slices = 3 SP

Lunch – 7 SP

Leftover Turkey Meatloaf, Grapes, Celery and 1 T. Almond Butter (Protein, healthy fat, and I didn’t have to throw away the leftover meatloaf!)

Afternoon Snack – 4 SP

I sautéed a few veggies and diced up two Italian chicken Sausages, then divided this into four servings. I topped this with an egg and added 20g Avocado on the side.

It was a great protein late afternoon snack. Mike thought it tasted great too! He is easy to please, thank goodness.

Dinner – 4 SP

Dinner was outside on a patio. I love a meal outside and it was the perfect day for it.

I kept my dinner simple with romaine, grilled Salmon, Vinegar and Oil on the side and Lemon Water. Now that Salmon is Zero Smartpoints, the only points here is for the Olive Oil. I guessed on that as best as I could.

I love Salmon and if its cooked perfectly, I chop it up, mix in a little vinegar and oil and I think its a really great salad!

(You can see Mike’s plate over there. He ordered a bunless burger and a side of asparagus. We’re feeling pretty darned good!)

Daily SmartPoints Total = 25
