Frosty Saying “Hi!”

The temps here are crazy warm, so Frosty may melt, but he’s here!

It took me a minute to get back to my daily schedule after four days of playing with friends, but I am back at it.

I was back to coffee for breakfast and two meals a day on Tuesday, but seemed to have a hard time getting in veggies, a blog post, or even a trip to the grocery store.

Also, Frosty is on a time schedule and needed my attention.

Just finished up these additional two and now Betsy can add the finishing touches. We had fun and think they turned out pretty darned cute.

I’ve been telling Mike that I wanted to paint the front door and the trim around the two side windows black for about 6 months. After playing this morning on the computer just a bit, I’m going to buy paint.

Does anyone else like painting pretty much anything? I have a few friends that I know do, and it always inspires me to just grab a brush and paint something. Don’t like it? It can always be painted again.

If the temps are what they predicted for this weekend, I may have to throw in “paint front door black” along with the Christmas shopping I need to finish up!

Today…..meal plan.

Do you meal plan?

Often I’ll make out a menu and that’s all the planning I need to do to have a healthy week. Sure, the groceries need to be purchased and the food needs to be cooked, but sometimes the hardest part for me is deciding what to make. Once I do that, I can pretty much count on feeling good about my week.

I’m setting aside some time this morning to come up with a menu for the next 7 days. Priorities are veggies, lean protein and easy!

I’m down 7 pounds since October 1st. I stopped the Tamoxifen September 15th and I think that has helped some. While feeling better is so much more important to me than the number on the scale, I’m hoping working with the trainer, building muscle, blogging and sticking to my routine will help the scale continue to nudge its way down.

The last three days weren’t the prettiest pictures or the greatest meals, and greatly lacking in veggies, but here they are.
